How did the founders of all those huge companies such as Apple, SpaceX, Amazon etc. got the money to start their projects even when they were flat broke?

    Posted: 18 May 2020 01:36 AM PDT

How does this whole thing work when someone is flat broke, but they still get the money to invest in their ideas? Is there any of you who did research on how Jeff Benzos, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs and all those other founders of those big companies started investing in their projects when they still didn't had money?

Would a Finance Major with a Business Minor be equivalent to a Business Management degree?

    Posted: 17 May 2020 08:58 PM PDT

Hello all, this is my first post in r/business

So right now I am in a predicament because I have found basically my "dream" school. It has litererally everything I want in a college: good academics, nice campus, good international student program, ect...

The only problem is that they do not have the specific degree that I was hoping to study, which would be Business Management. They do however have a good business program that has specific types of management and one of the options they gave me was a Major in Finance, and a minor in Business.

I know that taking Business managment is a broad degree and I would most likely have to focus in one area so would I get a similar experience with a finance major and business minor?

Side note: I am also planning on getting an MBA

    Thank you for any input!

Do you need a good credit score to work in an Supply Chain Management?

    Posted: 17 May 2020 11:16 PM PDT

    Hi!

I'm wanting to major in SCM, but I've had some financial/credit issues in the past. I expect to have it all cleared up within this year, and start my classes in January of 2021, but I was curious if it's normal for a SCM position to go through a credit background check? If credit would be an issue, can you think of an alternative business major that would lead to careers that wouldn't require a credit check?

    Thanks!

how do I start manufacture plastic product as a startup?

    Posted: 17 May 2020 02:29 PM PDT

So I'm still in progress of my design. I'm not sure where to begin this process. I don't have any experience in plastic injection and creating a mold for it. I feel stuck sometimes in my Project. It would be Nice to startup a company with someone who's has experience.
