How to get rid of .0886 of a share?? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:59 AM PDT Had a limit sell order and ended up with a dividend reinvestment just before the order triggered. I sold all my whole shares, now I have this ridiculous .0886 of a share in $BDX. Am I now the owner of this partial share forever? My account is with Schwab. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:35 AM PDT Surprised they didn't have a little pop yet with the new avengers coming out tonight or tomorrow. Pre sales are the highest ever, anyone else picking some up today? Edit: Appreciate all the answers and help! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 01:38 PM PDT General curiosity on everyone's thoughts on this huge profit spike and earnings beat. Where are the contrarians / unpopular opinions?? [link] [comments] |
If FB is flourishing does that mean SHOP will to? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 06:51 AM PDT If FB beat EPS estimates and actually increased its user base for the quarter - after the Analytica bonanza, does that mean SHOP should bounce up after the Andrew Left showdown. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:13 AM PDT What are thoughts on this company? Good time to buy on this dip? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 09:55 AM PDT Basically they divided by 15, so if I do the same with current stock price, it's equivalent to it's all time low, which it hasn't hit in a long time. Will this be a good buy in point, or will it's be a sinking rock for a while? [link] [comments] |

Which fund would yall liquidate first? Which would you hold over the other? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Where can I find Amazons new 10Q? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 02:14 PM PDT Sorry if I shouldn't be posting this here, but I only see their 8k on the EDGAR website. [link] [comments] |
Can someone explain to me how options trading works? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 04:52 PM PDT I understand a little bit. I bought a sho7rt call on AMD last night because I predicted earnings were going to go well. Well, it is quite bullish now, but my call is worth very little now, about 40% down since I bought it. Why? I thought if you bought it and the stock increased in price that it would increase in value? I've been trading for a couple years but have never tried options Edit: I sold for A $35 profit this morning, thanks for the help guys :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:00 AM PDT I missed the boat on that one. I wonder what potential CMG has over the next few months. Is anybody thinking of buying? If Chipotle had drive throughs it would be the only place I'd eat. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 01:31 PM PDT Is there a way to see the highest price a stock has ever sold for, pre, mid, or after-market? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 07:14 AM PDT Hi All, Other then the official announcement that Jerry Jones is an investor (most knew about this last week) and they refinanced whats caused the spike? I'm in at 5.34 and sold half my lot now wondering what to do with the rest. [link] [comments] |
Questions about buying options Posted: 26 Apr 2018 09:12 AM PDT I know a lot of before usually say you shouldn't buy something that you don't understand. That's why I'm posting my questions here before I proceed to buy any call options. Let's use $MSFT as an example. Their will have their ER after market closed and I believe it will go up after a good beat. I'm currently looking at this option: https://imgur.com/a/9bi6hBh The break even price is $97.34 which mean if the price doesn't get there or over, I will not be making any profit right? Let's say if the price did reach over the break even price. And it's now residing at $98. How would I be able to sell my call assuming that why would anyone want to buy a call option that is lower than the current price. Besides keeping note of Expiration date and Break even price. What else should I be on the look out for? Any suggestions and recommendations would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
When is your preference to buy / sell? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 12:57 PM PDT Personally I've been thinking to buy or sell half of my stocks if my portfolio grows / shrinks by 5% within a month period. I'd keep half my stocks as a buffer in a company in case I was wrong for a fallback. What are your general personal rules? [link] [comments] |
Ford Earnings Call Beats Estimates by $.02 Posted: 25 Apr 2018 02:39 PM PDT Pretty great earnings report considering all the negative sales news out lately (China/Europe/US). What's most intriguing, however, is Fords claims to increase EBIT by 40% in the next 2 years and their groundbreaking shift in vehicle production in the same timeframe. Ford is headed in a very different direction. Interesting opportunity for long term investors in my book... http://www.businessinsider.com/ford-beats-on-q1-earnings-2018-4 [link] [comments] |
Anyone know why HD is popping today Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:21 AM PDT It's been stuck in the low mid seventies for months and now we're about 80 just this morning [link] [comments] |
Insight on improving portfolio Posted: 26 Apr 2018 07:07 AM PDT Holdings include FB, AAPL, TTWO, BRK.B, LMT, V, GOOGL Just casting a net to see if anyone has some hitters that can compliment these. Pretty tech heavy as of now and ready to avg down or possibly reach into some other sectors. Thoughts are much appreciated! *24 y/o [link] [comments] |
where does smart money get funnelled to? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 12:29 AM PDT If smart money are now selling their stocks, where are they funnelling the money to? Is it just as simple as bonds? Increase cash holdings? I'd assume they cant liquidate all their holdings.. for example institutional investors - if the market does have a downturn, wouldn't they just have to tough it out?
