Do you guys know any sex doll stocks to invest? I think there is a huge potential for these companies if you think of controlling these dolls with apps or AI.

What do you guys think of Costco?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 12:09 PM PDT

In light of Costco opening in China, how do you guys think this will affect its stock? I definitely believe that it will continue to go up as they will probably be opening in new countries as time goes on.

What do you think about the TeamViewer IPO?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 10:33 AM PDT

Haven't seen anything on here. Permira announced they will go public with TeamViewer. The company itself sounds interesting:

    • 34% YoY growth for the first half of the year
    • 230 millions in billings in 2018
    • 35 - 39% expected increase in Billings YoY (up to 320 million)
    • net Retentionrate > 100%
    • pure cloud based and 100% customers with subscription
    • 360000 subscribers

    What do you think?

    Taiwan Semi-Conductor Manufacturing (TSM)

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 05:38 AM PDT

I like to hear other people's opinions on a stock incase I miss anything. Liking the look of this company going forward. Reasonably priced. On earnings call they say they've passed the bottom of the businness cycle and can already see demand picking up + long term demand growth with 5G. Sustainable dividend at 3.8% with usually a 70% payout ratio. Paid quarterly. Nice cash:debt ratio. Any thoughts on this for a long term hold at this price? Anything I'm missing to warn me about? Thanks

Investing in E-Gaming and E Sports, too late to get in, or right time?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 04:56 AM PDT

I don't know about y'all, but when that kid won 3 Million dollars in a Fortnite tournament that really baffled me. I am curious as to how big this industry has the potential to be and where can we get invested now, or am I late to the party? Invest in teams? Gaming companies? Whats everyone else approach on this if any ?

    1st trade

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 01:35 PM PDT

I made my 1st trade ever last Friday pre tweet and I'm finally green. Trying to grow my account. I started small, $700 into bac and gsx. Anyone think gsx is going to $17? I can see bac at $31 soonish. Also where can i find daily info - pre market on insiders buying shares? I watched ntec gain 50% today then drop but was late to the game on the news.

Question about the 5 year market increase

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:07 AM PDT

I know people say disregard recession, invest now and always.

But looking at the 5 year track for many stocks it seems difficult for me to get into it now. For example Nvidia was $20 per share 5 years ago. And its $170 now. Amazon was a $300/ share and now its $1700/ share. It's obvious the market has grown exponentially well in the last 5 to 10 years. Even though I only gave 2 examples a lot of the market seems to be at a premium right now.

So should I buy into stocks like apple, google, amazon, microsoft, now while they are at an all time high and expect them to continue growing. Or should I look for stocks that are coming up now and will be higher in the next 5 years. A lot of people made wealth by buying into these companies but 5 years ago I could have purchased almost 6 shares of amazon for the price of one today. So how can I best take advantage of the stocks today in the way people were able to 5 or 10 years ago?

Thoughts on going long with Paysign $PAYS?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 12:53 PM PDT

    $PAYS ~650 MKT Cap

    • Provider of innovative prepaid card programs and payment processing services
    • A leading provider to the domestic Plasma industry
    • Currently has 2.5+ million cardholders & has maintained 100% client retention for 8 years running
    • Expanding into Pharma industry by providing Co-Pay Assistance Programs
    • Launching a Premier Card late Aug/ early Sept that has not been included in 2019 guidance

Looks like a great growth stock that is going to crush the next 2 earnings.

A recession wouldn't hurt the company either because more people would be looking to make extra cash by donating plasma.

Any thoughts on why this company isn't a great long play?

What's the best way to invest in Corporate Bonds?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 12:15 PM PDT

Sorry I'm kind of new to investing but I have a few thousand not invested in stocks and figure it's no good to leave it in a checking account to depreciate in value. I have a Wells Trade account for stocks, but can I use that to buy bonds? If so, how? And if not, how do I do it? Thanks in advance

    Order type to protect gains.

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 11:59 AM PDT

I made some money with a recent short sale. I don't want to sell bc I think it may go down even more but I want logic to say sell at certain price so if it bounces up I don't loose all my gains. Do I want a limit, stop, or stop limit? For example, I shorted at 14.00 the stocks at 13.20 I want logic to say if it bounces up to 13.40 trigger a market order. Thanks.

Is this a good strategy for dividend paying stocks?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 10:27 AM PDT

Buying x amount of shares of a certain monthly paying dividend stock, so that the amount of shares owned is enough for the dividend to pay for a 'free' share each month? This way you just reinvest the dividend and it grows exponentially. Thank you for the advice!

How does a recession affect the housing market?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 04:05 AM PDT

Hi guys. I am thinking of purchasing a property as a first time buyer, however there is a lot of talk about a incoming recession. I understand that the recession in 08 existed due to housing bubble, but this time it's more likely due to trade and others. In what way would this affect the price of houses if it does come?

Tax loss harvesting - selling CGC at loss and buying STZ

I'd like to exit CGC for 32 days to capture losses. Wondering if buying STZ is materially different considering STZ holds a stake in CGC?

    Inherited stocks

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 08:08 AM PDT

My grandpa passed away a couple months ago and left me with some stocks. I'm completely new to stocks and the markets and not sure what to do from here. Since receiving them I've been trying to learn as much as possible on my own but with the markets being so volatile right now it seems like everything I read contradicts the last thing I've read. With all this uncertainty I'm constantly second guessing what I should do from here. I know Reddit is all opinions too but I'm hoping for some more specific guidance to my situation. Hopefully this all makes sense... It's a TDA account with my total positions just over 45k w/ -20k margin balance. Positions: 80 x AMGN 192 x CVX 40 x HOLX 40 x IONS 18 x LNT 8 x NTR 8 X PRU

Ideally I'd like to eliminate the margin balance and leave the remainder but I'm unsure if this is the right choice or if I should just sell off everything and think about reinvesting once some off this volatility settles. Any advice is much appreciated.
