Unique Savings/Interest Question [VA/NC, US] Posted: 29 Apr 2019 10:18 AM PDT Hi all! I'm writing to you today because I need some advice. My father is not in a position where he can open any sort of accounts (incarcerated) for the next ten years but he is at a point in his sentence where he would like to begin to save some money to have some sort of financial assistance after he is released. With that being said, I have been receiving biweekly money from his mother to put into an account/investment for him. I am not sure how long this will continue but I would like to do something with this money where it can gain some (hopefully) substantial interest over the next ten years. Given that it is not a lump sum of money and is a rather small amount ($80) that will be coming in every two weeks I have been leaning toward a savings account of some sort. I am unsure what to do with this money that will best benefit him and is NOT risky. If anyone has any ideas, please send them my way! Thank you in advance to everyone! [link] [comments] | ||
