    UK content insurance question

    Posted: 18 Jan 2022 03:04 AM PST

This is for UK folk - I live in a Scottish tenement building and like most, it (normally) has a secure entrance to the street and then a lockable door into the flat itself. The secure entrance for my building has been badly damaged and the landlord is struggling to get it fixed. If I had a break in while the street entrance is busted (you can push it open atm), how would this affect a content insurance claim, if at all? Thanks in advance!

    Parked car hit

    Posted: 18 Jan 2022 02:42 AM PST

My first car gifted from my mom was hit outside of our house at 4 in the morning. The car is totaled and It's not insured but the other persons car is. My mom's been in contact with their insurance company but we don't know what happens next. She thinks they'll only pay for what the car is worth (between $1,000-$1500) but we were planning on selling the car and had an offer for $2700. I've never been in a situation like this so I'm not sure what to expect. Can someone explain to me how this would work?

    Insurance options for LLC-owned residence

    Posted: 17 Jan 2022 08:32 PM PST

Several individuals are members of a LLC. The LLC owns a "vacation" home that members use. What options are there for a homeowners-equivalent policy in which the LLC is the Named Insured ?

    Thanks.
