Taking a company private after acquisition

    Posted: 04 Jun 2021 02:33 AM PDT

So I wanna find out something, I'm gonna use pre-existing companies as examples for my question. Now hypothetically speaking, let's say if Apple as big as it is was a private company, and they wanted to buy ViacomCBS for example and take it private. How would that work? Does ViacomCBS automatically become private after the acquisition, or would Apple have to battle a series of legal issues first and only after months/years of the acquisition will ViacomCBS become private? Is it possible for a company to be too big to be taken private in the first place? And another question, if Apple wanted to buy another smaller but also public company like Electronic Arts for example, would that also be allowed? Basically how many public companies is a private company allowed to buy and take them private is what I'm asking. Anyone with insight into this type of stuff please let me know what you think.

Zero Income in 2 years of business, zero sales, recently sponsored a big giveaway, & I still want to do business, tips to build wealth in my condition?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2021 11:13 PM PDT

So I am 26, live with my parents, & my father takes care of all expenses of my business as well. He pays my online shop rents & take care of my every expense. He got money from inheritance so NO FINANCIAL PRESSURE

But the problem is I want to see some results from my business or what I am gonna say to people disagreeing with my choice "I will only do business and no job until really really really necessary" after 2 years of failure?

Me personally, this is what I want to do, I am okay if zero money comes out of it, but I am not okay with not being rich. Advice?

Edit: (Adding more to it) Moreover everybody, mean everybody around me of my age & some young ones have a job & since I have been screaming at them to become financially free, now they are ahead of me, mean come on, I was the one giving advices & I am the one waiting for own income for 2 years. Bills paid by father is internet food and clothes. Online shop rent is 30$ per month.

How to find direct sellers opposed to resellers?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2021 02:34 PM PDT

I currently started a small rug making business. Buying products like yarn, cloth, glue ect are expensive from resellers and was wondering what methods you use to remove the middle man and buying directly in bulk. Thanks!

How do I figure out the monthly fee I should charge my users for premium access in order to make my app profitable?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2021 03:08 PM PDT

My app that will be available for both Android and iOS will use the following paid services:

    • Firebase Cloud Firestore
    • Firebase Cloud Functions
    • Firebase Cloud Storage
    • Firebase Realtime Database
    • Spoonacular API (using Edamam Recipe Search API right now, but most likely will switch to Spoonacular because it's far more affordable)

With all of these services in use, how do I figure out how much the monthly fee for the premium subscription should be so my app is profitable? Right now I've decided to limit the freemium model to four API calls every 24 hours for every user, but if the user upgrades to premium then it's unlimited for them.

Question on Researching Companies Philanthropy Advertising Practices - please help!

    Posted: 03 Jun 2021 01:15 PM PDT

Does anyone know about types of companies that have done charity and then spent more money on advertising the fact that they did charity, than the donation to the charity?

A good example would be DoorDash who spent $5 million on a super bowl ad that they donated $1 mil to their charity.

This would be of great help, thank you!
