    Hey guys! :)

I'm thinking of using Adwords to help my business.

Just wondering what your experience is with it?

And did you face any challenges when using it?

    Thanks!

I'm worried about my parents buying new phones through their business

    Posted: 02 May 2020 09:54 PM PDT

Okay so I don't know if this belongs here or not but I'm 16 so I don't know anything about business but I'm quite concerned.

My mother and stepdad have a business together, it's a pretty small business and they do contracting for a carpet company (they're carpet layers) anyway they needed new phones awhile ago and bought them through the business since they use them for the business heaps. Recently my stepdad got a crack on his phone, it's not a hug crack and his phone is still completely useable. However I just heard them talking about buying new phones through the business which doesn't seem right since their phones still work (my mother's is still perfectly fine) again though I don't know anything about business

So I'm asking if they can get in trouble for doing this as they don't need to, my stepdad also said something about getting one like mine (mine has a fingerprint scanner and I think that idea is appealing to him) so it's quite obvious that they want a new one because they want a new one, not because they actually need one.

Sorry if this doesn't fit here I just want to know how it works :)

    Lead finder agencies

    Posted: 02 May 2020 08:28 PM PDT

So I've been approached by a few lead generation agencies who basically gives us leads with 'guaranteed results'. We don't really have a problem with leads but the idea of it sounds good. Has anyone used these agencies before? What was the experience like?

Are there any research studies that showcase how each industry will recover from Covid-19 ?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 03:53 PM PDT

For example after a lockdown is lifted in a state how long does it take for each industry to recover to pre-lockdown or pre-covid-19 range ? Travel and Tourism (18 months), Entertainment (12 months), Finance (6 months) etc.. ?

    Thank you

This might be a stupid question, but is there someone who has actually made profits by investing in this platform? all the information you can find online seems fishy and some relatives have recommended me this describing it as "the next bitcoin".

Am I making the right decision?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 02:51 PM PDT

I have been working in automotive sales industry for 1 year and 8 months. I recently got into a bad car accident that has left me without a car, I'm on medical leave, sitting at home collecting unemployment, and I'm deciding if I should go back to work soon or pursue my dream of running my own clothing brand.

I completed high school at seventeen years old because I found out I was going to become a father and now my daughter is three years old, making me 20 years old, but I immediately signed up for a sales job because I found out it was an opportunity that would grant me the ability to make a lot of money if I put in the work and produced results. The most I have made in all of my time working there is $6,000 before taxes. But, the company has promised me to move me up and give me a better position if I keep striving. It's hard for me to turn away from the business, but also the management team I work for is also toxic and it has an effect on me when I return home. They made really messed up sexual jokes about my mom, sister, and made jokes about my religion. We've had many people, great general managers, that have left the company I still work for because they did not like the environment and I'm not sure if it's great for me to be working there much longer. Although, our corporate team who lives across states, stops by to visit their store and they love me, I have met personally with the vice president and he's discussed my future with the company, and after talking with my higher up boss. He said that I am the only sales person that they have an interest of moving up. But, other people on the floor said that it's just a tactic to keep me there longer.

I want to be able to have the opportunity to find a job that pays me that much, provide a better environment, and it doesn't involve SALES. I have worked with their marketing team, my closing percentage is VERY good, and I am terrific on the phones. But, mainly I want to make sure that I am at least providing enough money on the table for my daughter and myself to not worry about bills. Like I said, I have a passion for clothing and art. There's so much that I want to do, but everything that I have researched requires a good amount of money.

I guess what I am trying to say is, should I search for a job elsewhere (that is not sales, maybe work two jobs) or stick with my job and the BS that we handle everyday and keep saving money? Also, I am a full time dad, but my mother is helping watch my daughter when I am at work.

    Thanks in advance!
