Posted: 29 Mar 2020 10:42 AM PDT We've recently pivoted from being a B2C play to a B2B (with the potential for B2B2C). Most of our mentors suggested that the best way to reach decision makers in the enterprise, manufacturing and larger corporate space was the targeted conference circuit. That has obviously come to a screeching halt in the current Co-vid climate. We're looking to connect and validates with a few niches like financial planners and advisors, SMB business owners and even large scale manufacturing. I'm told that those aren't necessarily the folks that I will find hanging out on Instagram or Facebook. Even LinkedIN, to a degree, is not where we will find some of those players (although this is where we are working to connect with the Financial Advisors). Any suggestions on how to get our demo and landing page/website out in front of these markets for additional validation with the current WFH limitations? [link] [comments] |
How to position myself in front of customer? Posted: 30 Mar 2020 12:18 AM PDT Hi all! I hope you are doing well and healthy Right now I am still employed in a company. I am doing my startup at night and weekend. I have created simple coming soon landing page so I can get customers' emails and talk to them to validate my idea. If you were me, are you going to say to customers that you are not a company yet and still kind of "part time" business? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Categorising Friends & Family Funding Posted: 29 Mar 2020 12:45 PM PDT We have recently established a Delaware C-Corp via Clerky. Before incorporated we have raised a small sum from friends and family to kickstart the project ~26k and we promised them a few percentage of the company. Now that we are working on post-corporation docs, we were advised not to give equity directly to them but via Convertible Notes/ SAFE instead. None of our friends and family members are accredited investors, some based overseas. What should we do? [link] [comments] |
Could anyone recommend a good animation video production agency? Posted: 29 Mar 2020 12:55 PM PDT Hi everyone, I'm looking to expand my digital marketing efforts for my small business, and I love those animation marketing videos that give a 101 overview of your business or some aspect of it. I've searched the internet, but I'm still struggling to find a reputable source. Would appreciate if you know anyone that specializes in this! [link] [comments] |
Do You Prefer Scrum, Kanban Or A Mix of Both And Why? Posted: 29 Mar 2020 09:28 AM PDT Hello Everyone! Hope you are all well and staying safe. I would like to hear your thoughts on your preferred agile working framework. As per the title, do you prefer scrum or kanban or perhaps you use a mix of both or use interchangeably depending on the project/nature of the work. Would love to hear your views on your preference and why, [link] [comments] |
Best way to gather emails & launch Posted: 29 Mar 2020 04:41 AM PDT First post here, I wanted to know everyone's opinion of gathering email addresses for a fully online site that will enable people to sell things they have created (I know this sounds like eBay but I assure you it's industry specific and not been done before, just don't want to give anything away). It's built to scale and expand rapidly but in order for that to happen it needs a membership base. Membership is free and the site will be majority add free (maybe introduce some later). Was wondering the ways people have felt with exposure for a site that relies on active membership? [link] [comments] |
