    Are deli's considered low-margin businesses?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 09:51 PM PST

When I shop at Vons, Sprouts, or even Costco I rarely see deli items discounted by a lot. The most is 10-15% off. For example, at Krogers, donuts are $3.99 a dozen once in a while I see it discounted to $3.49 and even slice of cake at VONS sometimes it is $2.99 then discounted to $2.49. But for some grocery items like 12 oz starbucks coffee I see it discounted from $8.99 to $4.99 or tuna from $2.69 to $0.99. And some items like whole chicken I never see it on-sale. Just wondering if this is true?

Which products to sell in a retail store?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:44 PM PST

    Hello,

my dad has a retail store for >45years, are there some products you recommend to sell in a established store to max. the revenue. (No City -> Town with only old and rich people in germany)

At the moment the store is selling stuff for art people and a lot more for people who want to craft something.

    Thank you!

    Thoughts on Zuitte?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 05:51 PM PST

    Hey, everyone.

I'm new to entrepreneurship and looking to launch an ecommerce business in the near future. I'm currently scoping out a few different platforms for hosting/building my site, SEO keyword checking, email marketing, CRM etc. etc.

Anyway, I've come across Zuitte and was wondering if any of you have experience with this product? If so, would you recommend or avoid it? What did you like/dislike? And do you think it's worth the money?

Personally, I take the stance that the best out there focus on one thing and do it brilliantly, but this product looks like a great investment — if it can live it to its promises.

    Thanks in advance :)

We are wanting to create an all encompassed marketing package for his new company.

This includes, a website, logo, business cards, a menu, printouts ect... Also photography.

How much would be recommended price be for this sort of work?

We are just starting out ourselves and don't want to undercharge or overcharge.

    Thank you

Should I do an LLC or DBA?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 11:26 AM PST

I'm starting a computer repair business from home out of a shed that I have built into a workspace. It is just me at this time working. Futuristically, Id like to have my own store front but that's 1-2 years out. I'm using my last name alongside pc repair as the name. Just curious would it be easier for me to get an LLC or just DBA. What's the advantages and disadvantages of each?

I am a teenager, and want to start a renewable energy company within the next ten years, because it’s the future (and good money), how should I go about this?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 05:10 AM PST

Further information: Renewable energy is the future for sure, and I am obsessed with it. I want to start a business one day that incorporates wind, solar and possibly (if the company doesn't fail) geothermal energy sources. As a teenager, I have no capital as of yet—but I'm working on it. Any advice on

    A) getting capital B) anything and everything related to starting up this particular business

    Would be greatly appreciated

What do you think of opening this type of business?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 03:51 AM PST

I was thinking lately for these ideas at the same time, and want to make sure if i can make future out of it, like at least 2000$ a month, if you can give your opinion:

    • Bee farming for their honey
    • fish farming
    • chicken farming
    • snails farming
    • mushroom farming
    • growing pine trees for lately i heard that almost each tree can make to 2000$ a year whih im not sure if this is true
    • growing nut trees
    • growing worms for silk harvesting

Point of strength: -my grand parents have a huge land which can be used with a house, but no constructions is allowed

Point of weakness: i have so little money to start this business

    People are water

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:45 AM PST

People are like water, they can only flow independently. Many people think, especially parents that they can shape children; just how you can shape mud into a vase. You can only control a path the water flows, and sometimes there will be paths you won't see.

Water can not be control, you can trap it but once that glass cracks and the pressure builds, it will burst and flow uncontrollably until it settles on a stable plain.

Water is freedom. We can't predict what water will do. Water is why America became the most advanced civilization in the shortest time in human history. Let's not allow institutions and the powerful few, trap water. Because one day the pressure will be too much for the glass to hold.

Liberty above all. Encourage, do not push.
