Thoughts on Robinhood? Investment Club |

I'd like to put a few thousand into stocks as opposed to just sitting in my bank account, but I still want the money to be liquid. Is Robinhood a good choice for something like that? | Posted: 01 Jan 2020 02:13 PM PST Hi everyone, My husband and I are looking at a property to purchase. It's about 45 minutes from our home and we think it would be a great short term rental (it is in a popular tourist destination area). It has a finished basement apartment that adds tremendous value in our eyes but because it is detached it is not included in the specs of the listing (although it is pictured) which we feel accounts for the reasonable list price and we want to jump on it. We also own a house a few hours away which we rent out long term. If we purchase this new house we're looking at, the combined loans on all 3 would be 3.3 times our annual household income. If we exclude the loan on the income property, our loans for our primary residence and this potential new income property would be 2.6 times our household income. TL;DR Does anyone have experience obtaining a third mortgage for a short term rental when having mortgages for a primary residence as well as a long term rental? Is it feasible? [link] [comments]  |
