    Nintendo.... what the hell?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:01 AM PDT

Why the sudden drops? Was it because of the horrible Mario aces demo which exposed just how terrible their online system is? I'm thinking about selling but holding for E3

FSLR down 6% on the day, seemingly no news

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 07:59 AM PDT

Title says it all. FSLR took a big hit, but I'm not seeing any real new or releases from them. Anyone know what's going on with them?

Question on tQQQ (3x leveraged ETF)

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 10:00 AM PDT

I'm up 13.5% in about a month with this ETF. What is a good strategy? Take some off the table? Trailing stop loss? Curious about others who have won with this strategy.

    Tick volume graphic

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 09:34 AM PDT

Hello can you help me out with the tick volume? I can't really understand what is the difference between a candle graphic and a tick volume graphic How can I spot ther price movement when I am using a tick-volume graphic? I have red that it is the minimum price movement... well but isn' it the same of a ''normal'' candle graphic? The candle chart also shows the minimum price movement at a given level... I really can't understand the difference between the two can you make a clear example please? So that I could understand in simple words? I don't understand how the updates in the price movement can be helpful to take the decision to go long or short (along with other factors, obviously I wouldn't take only one indicator to decide if buy or sell) For example if the price in that candle has been updated 101 times, well what does it mean? Which kind of indicator can it be? A bearish candle with the price updated 101 times in the session, what could this ''suggest'' ?

Down ~50% on $CSIQ. With the incredibly uncertain future of solar industry (short term), is it time to sell?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 09:20 AM PDT

I've seen it recover +20% and then lose all of those gains within 3 days again and again over the last 4 years. My plan was to hold for the long term, but I cannot help feel like I'm losing money by not selling my losses and reinvesting into something more stable. Not a dividend payer, talks about company going private, Trump and Repubs circle-jerking over "clean coal", tariffs on raw materials, it seems like solar is going to be stagnant for the next 2-6 years.

    Thoughts?

    $ATNM OPPENHEIMER UPGRADE

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 12:54 PM PDT

Shares of Actinium Pharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:ATNM) rose after Oppenheimer issued a US$5 price target on the stock ahead of what it expects to be several positive data readouts.

The analysts said they came away satisfied after a meeting with management where they discussed the firm's product pipeline.

Actinium's lead product candidate is Iomab-B that is in Phase 3 clinical studies for myeloablation and conditioning of the bone marrow prior to a bone marrow transplants for older patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.

"With an increasingly clear line of sight to Iomab-B pivotal Phase 3 data (1H19, potential BLA filing 1H20) and mid-stage data in the growing Actimab CD33 program, Actinium is on track to significantly re-rate in 2H18," wrote Oppenheimer analysts Hartaj Singh and Emma Nealon in a note to clients.

The company is also developing Actimab-A, which is in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of patients over the age of 60 newly diagnosed with a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

    Bullish view

The analysts assigned an Outperform rating with a $5 price target.

"Actinium has three clinical assets: an alpha particle platform technology and clinical trial support from the foremost bone marrow transplant (BMT) centers in the US. Historical data and our physician checks give us high conviction, and we conservatively assign a risk-adjusted value of $2.60/share to Iomab-B and $2/ share to the other programs," wrote the analysts.

"We advise investors to carefully consider a misunderstood name."

$MU - US Chipmaker Micron One of Three Companies Being Investigated By China

    Posted: 03 Jun 2018 09:11 PM PDT

    Just saw this news online:

Three chipmaking companies–one in the U.S. and two in South Korea–are being investigated simultaneously by the Chinese government.

Micron Technology, the largest American chipmaker; Samsung Electronics; and SK Hynix, the world's second-largest memory chipmaker, are being investigated by China's Anti-monopoly Bureau of State Administration for Market Regulation, Chinese news site Jiwei Net reported on June 1. Micron has since confirmed that the Chinese regulators visited its sales office on May 31 for information, according to Bloomberg.

Is it safe to have all money in one ETF even if it’s a diversified ETF?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 10:45 AM PDT

For example, what if I have all my money in a s&p500 index fund and then the company that runs the fund goes out of business. Is this even possible? Just wondering if it is better to even diversify your etf portfolio. For example have 3 different index funds tracking the same index or would it be better to just have all your money in one fund?

Blackberry ($BB), resurrecting a forgotten stock

    Posted: 03 Jun 2018 09:16 PM PDT

Blackberry has emerged over the past year or so as a major player in secure autonomous driving software systems. Partnerships are stacking up with Aptiv, Baidu, and Microsoft but it still seems to be flying under the radar. Is the baggage of the Blackberry brand holding back this stock?

Does anyone think DDE will benefit from the recent changes in gambling laws?

I'm referencing the recent change in sports betting, where the Supreme Court struck down what appeared to be a monopoly held by Nevada on sports betting. You can read bout it here.

Why is DIS so cheap right now?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 06:12 AM PDT

It moved from the low 100s to $93. Any reason why? Is this a good time to get in or will or drop further? I assume the Fox hype will drive it up within the next few weeks.

Advice on buying a stock with very little info avail

    Posted: 03 Jun 2018 10:15 PM PDT

Excuse my inexperience, but I am looking to buy an inexpensive stock this morning when the markets open and although I know a lot of positive things about this biopharma co. & tomorrow they'll be making a big announcement about something in the pipeline (Stage III testing for an Ebola cure has been approved). However, I've searched everywhere for predictions and analysis (I'm not at the stage where I can do it myself thoroughly), and I'm coming up empty-handed. They have several promising patents for drugs in late stages of approval for things such as Crohn's Disease & IBS. Would you risk it without expert advice? At noon they are announcing the Ebola approval, so I want to buy first thing. What do you think?
