Posted: 04 Dec 2017 10:51 AM PST Started a sales gig and was pretty enthusiastic about it. Slowly I stated to realize that there's not much production happening but instead just retention. In the four years of the business being open there has been 0 referral programs set up. No one calls in and I do my best by going out pressing the flesh but that will take awhile in assuming to set up referral relationships. After two months my boss is starting to get impatient wondering why I'm not being a rockstar and not selling my ass off. Am I in a bad spot or is the the norm? [link] [comments] |
How to make customers take you more seriously? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 09:25 AM PST I'm 22 and sell cars and I feel like I'm fairly good at it. However, I feel like a lot of my customers don't take me seriously because I'm young and that they can roll me over and that what I say isn't the truth. Any advice to generally make customers take you more seriously? [link] [comments] |

Selling software with cold emails, wondering the best way to keep track of opt-out? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 05:17 PM PST I've had some success in the past with getting sales on software via cold email. I am concerned, however, with the efficiency of keeping track of opt-out requests. This week I wanted to try a lot of personalized emails but to avoid any problems with spamming people, I want to include a link for opt-out. Is there any easy way for letting people add themselves to an opt out list? Do any CRMs or other services help with that? [link] [comments] |
