    Unfair customer tactics

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 10:34 PM PST

Okay r/business here is a question for you. I work for a startup company that is just now hitting 5 year. We hit our 1 million milestone and have been doing well. Hoping to make profit by next year we encountered our largest speed bump. Being new to our industry we have a duty to grow our name and unfortunately people prefer tried and true trusted companies, so it's been a challenge. Our issue is this, we have had an individual get unruly with us for literally nothing, then try to get free product. After we declined, the individual began causing issues on our social media. We blocked the individual after they blasted profanity over our page and that person began spreading many people to disrupt our social media as well. Unfortunately this individual has some people in our industry and has quite the reach. Now our profit challenge turns into saving our name. What is some advice to a fairly new company that truly, and I say this with complete honesty, did nothing wrong. How do you combat a squad of keyboard warriors and allow new potential customers to give you a chance at the same time?

    Thanks in advance!

a study of Engagement & Challenge and Work-Relevant Outcomes

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 06:44 AM PST

    Hello Everyone,

I'm working on a psychology project examining people's engagement and challenge in their work and how this impacts various work relevant outcomes. I pretested the survey for length, if you have just 20 minutes to spare, are currently working in a paid capacity, are 18 years old or older, and speak English fluently you can participate. I will be granting participants access to their personal results through a password-protected system. If you would be willing to help a young student out, I would really appreciate your time and effort.

    Thanks again,

I'm going to post sporadically several rules for running a successful business, or specifically for those wanting profit.

Feel free to discuss what each one means to yourself, as many of these have multiple interpretations.

Number 1. "Once you have their money, never give it back."

After 2 years working as an IT consultant , decided to quit and launch a venture of mine. It is called The Silk Route. I am in desperate need of honest and brutal feedbacks

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 04:04 AM PST

It has been a roller coaster ride right after i bought my first domain name. Have been working on the website for a month now & I am pretty satisfied with the outcome. I really need r/Entrepreneur to help me, it being a community of good Samaritans and entrepreneurs that can honestly( & brutally) provide valuable feedback. I would really appreciate any kind of suggestion, question or feedback regarding the website or business. My website is The Silk Route (thesilkroute.net)

P.s : some of the pages still need some rectifications in terms of content and images
