Why do we need an MVP?

like genuinely, if you are reaching out to investors, all they look at is your slide deck and maybe the business plan. Some people say that you need the MVP to "validate the demand" by approaching potential customers and showing them your MVP. But can't I just go to them and explain what my idea is ?

    Marketing courses - startup specific

    Posted: 24 Feb 2022 12:43 AM PST

Anyone work in marketing for startups have any recommendations for courses that can help in upskilling around growth marketing/startup marketing? I have 10 years marketing experience in a traditional business ecosystem and know startups require a much more agile, efficient approach and I learn best by doing so hoping to find a course I can do in these areas to better my chances of feeling confident in this space.

My 2yrs old daughter is better than you

You never know what life is going to put in front of you!

It was high school, and I needed 18 out of 20 for the art class to become the best student. They would send the best students in every class on a 4-day fun trip.

The art teacher got into class with a paper in left-hand and the rest in the right hand.

He put all the papers on the table but the left-hand paper :

    Who is .., ......

    I raised my hand.

    He said :

What is this...? Is this a joke....? Did you draw this?

    I said:

Yes. Sorry, I am not very good at painting. I tried my best but I am terrible.

( The topic was: draw the most mesmerizing scene you've ever seen in nature )

( What I drew was, 3 mountains with a lake comes from them to a jungle and a couple of birds )

The class had a fun time as he made fun of every element in the drawings. They burst into the laugh for 30 mins. He ended with "My 2yrs old daughter is better than you " and class became noisy again.

I got %75 out of 20 ( Not even 1). eventually; I did some other activities, including making a handmade sword and made it to 16. I didn't go on that trip.

Fast forward, a year ago I sold my $40K worth of $shib 9 months ago ( If I hold them it would be worth $150k now )

To build a product in a space which i am terrible at.

We are having our first Artisan in 2 weeks.
