Sales jobs that pay more than 100-120k a year

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 07:33 PM PST

Just curious it seems like most of us are around 80-120k a year in our sales jobs no matter what industry we are in. Is there industries that pay more? Like 150-200k a year?

I do have one of my ex coworkers that just reached out to me and sent me his ytd$ for last year and it was 265k selling Medicare supplements/FE&life seems too good to be true tho.

A Little Help For My Internship Task

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 07:24 AM PST

    Hey all!

I am a university student trying to get some experience in the sales enablement department and i got an opportunity for a good internship. The problem is that i am given a task and as easy as it sounds i just can't get it right. The task is about making a presentation on "How to improve productivity of sales reps". But it also has to include an analysis of B2B SaaS sales funnel conversion rates and how to improve proposal (opportunity) to closed won rates.

I am having a hard time putting all of this together and finding good data for my analysis of conversion rates.

Any help is appreciated and thank you all for your time!

UK SaaS. How should I formulate my sales salaries - base, commission, bonus etc.

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 08:03 AM PST

UK (pre-university) education SaaS, product <£1k annually.

I am going to hire my first salespeople in the latter half of this year - looking for some preliminary education on the typical 'formula' for compensation.

I'd be grateful to hear your preferences as salespeople as well as how to arrive at a fair level of compensation. Recommended reading appreciated also.

    Part time sales roles

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 06:33 AM PST

I have a full time gig and want to get back into sales. I have some spare time and could use a little extra $. What's a good sales role to do flexibly/part time? I would do commission-only or base. Thanks!

Any part time sales jobs with flexible hours?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 08:40 PM PST

Are there any decent part time sales jobs with flexible hours. I have to be tied down currently only about 30hrs/wk and I'm bored, but my schedule isn't super consistent. I want a little role with actual pressure and goals.

If there's real potential I'd happily do something commission only as well. I've heard some negative things about this from my colleagues but definitely a biased perspective.

    Topperformer - where to move

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 02:37 AM PST

Me and my girlfriend work in the biggest telco in Europe inbound. I am doing it for 2 years and I am the top performer of 300 ppl. My team of 13 ppl does 6000 contracts/year and I am doing 30% of it. My gf is doing it for 4 years and is even better. She also coaches ppl in our company - but she doesn't get paid for it. We get a good salary here, but the commission keeps dropping every year. The company is making big gains and because of us we accomplish all sales goals set by the company. We can't ask for a rise because they tell us we should be happy that we have a job.

We want to move, any Tipps for sales in Europe?

    Software Development Outsourcing Sales

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 01:27 AM PST

I have a software development agency (outsource) and in 2021 I tried so many sales campaigns. LinkedIn, AngelList (by applying for jobs myself and then explaining the dev agency), cold emailing.

Do you have any suggestions of things I can try in 2022 to be more successful in finding and closing deals?

I'm starting a new job in office furniture sales/consulting. The company helps design and install furniture for large corporations. Has anyone worked in a similar field or dealt with someone from this field and have any feedback on things that did/didn't go well?

Any and all advice helps :)

    I think I got scammed… please advise.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 10:53 PM PST

Hi all so I am a 26 year old recent college dropout and I was really unsure of what to do in life and I was at a dead end money wise and career wise.

Then not too long ago I discovered SaaS and Tech sales and starting looking into these bootcamps and programs.

The best one to me was https://elevatehire.co or elevate where the CEO did my interview this past June 2021 and I went for it. His contract was straight forward and to the point it was an ISA- Income Share Agreement of 10% of your gross income for 36 months when they get you a job that pays over $60k+ base and commissions OTE.

No interest and no loan provider or nothing like that. Also the payment fee caps at $25,000. It seemed very straight forward to me at the time and even the 3 lawyers I showed it too said that no red flags.

But now after seeing this Subreddit community and other stuff on LinkedIn I feel like I've been scammed. Also I still don't have a job either in SaaS or tech sales as an SDR.

I don't know what to do I couldn't do college and struggled to get my bachelors after my associates degree and this was also a scam.

I don't know if maybe I'm just stupid.

Any advice would be welcomed on either comment or DM

    Thank you
