Selling wholesale to third world dealers Posted: 10 Dec 2021 07:30 PM PST I met a couple while on vacation. They told me that they collect a lot of the free give-a-way type things that are in perfectly good shape and would be very useful to someone in a developing country. After they fill a shipping container, they have a local buyer in that country who they ship it to. My question is, how would I go about finding an international buyer for something like this? Are there platforms where sellers and buys seek each other out? This wouldn't be a hugely profitable venture. More of a hobby to send useful products to grateful communities and just cover my costs. Posted: 10 Dec 2021 05:54 PM PST In 2016, we fired an employee who was secretly sending other employees to our competitor for a kickback. Now in 2021, this ex-employee is now calling our company using a fake name and an fake Indian accent saying it is urgent for someone to call him back. This guy is leaving his legit phone number but all other details including the name and accent are fake. Would you suggest that we call him back or block him? [link] [comments] |
