Company gave me a paycheck several weeks after being fired

I was fired at the beginning of December. I received a direct deposit in my bank account on Thursday for my usual salaried amount, even though they paid out my final paycheck + vacation payout on December 10th. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Kinda pissed they fired me and found the Accounting error on my own. Best advice on how to proceed.

    Advice?

    Posted: 26 Dec 2021 05:40 AM PST

Got a job offer last week for an Associate role in industry, was offered $70K but at an hourly rate with overtime and I will be working at least 40 hours. I would also get some stocks and I may get a bonus sometime during the year. They also have good benefits and PTO, and its fully remote. I have over 2 and a half years of experience and still not a Senior at my current firm in public. I also dont have my CPA license.

The offer is much better than my current job since I havent even gotten a raise since I started over a year ago. I would be getting a 7.5% increase in my income just by taking the role, not to mention the overtime, stocks, or the potential bonuses. Opinions on it?

Can you balance accounting and sport?

    Posted: 26 Dec 2021 07:38 AM PST

Sport gives me energy. This year I was often mentally overwhelmed and I did not practice much sport. That led me to often feel like I have low energies.

Do you have some good stories about balancing successfully your work and training routines? (at least 2x week).
