This crypto scam bilked investors out of $11 million — and paid action star Steven Seagal to promote it. What was left unsaid was that Seagal was being paid to be a spokesman, with the promise of $250,000 plus $750,000 in B2G coin for his time, the SEC said.

    A stock and crypto tool

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 01:58 PM PDT

    Hello everyone,

I recently quit my job to develop an app full time. My app is called Invezo on the app store and I was really hoping I could get some feedback on here. Unfortunately, it is only on iOS (sorry android peeps). I guess the main focus of my app is I am pairing classic financial data with social media data. I track the mentions of a stock and crypto across Reddit, StockTwits, Twitter, and whats being mentioned in the news. I also track the sentiment of these stocks and cryptos. I would really love to hear some feedback on what you think of the app. If there is anything you think I should add or remove. Anything. I have been emailing people who have signed up but not getting any responses. Was hoping I could get a better response here :)

    Thanks everyone

    A stock analyzer tool!

    Hello friends,

I am building out a new tool that helps with the visualization of financial statements from the past decade. (https://stockanalyzerapp.herokuapp.com/)

A visual helps to easily grasp the situation of a company's financials in a single snapshot and this tool should help you with just that.

Also, you can zoom in/out, download the pictures, enable/disable different items in the plot and much more.

I would love to have you use the tool and give feedback on the same. Any feature requests are also welcome!

$IT is unbeatable. Consistent growth, all they do is hire young hungry sales people to go out and sell reports to companies, and corporate America is eating it up. They write one report and sell it $1,000 times to 1,000 other corporation. I bought in at $134.83, double my money again please Gartner.

Insight on how to start investing

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 05:48 AM PDT

Hello. I am new to this, and havent started investing as i am trying to understand the general ideas of it. My idea is to invest in long term, i did another post because i was interest in a type of company and received feedback, but i want to do the followig and dont know if it is a good move or not. 1) i want to wait to September to see how the company stocks behave because it a bearish month and also on the 3rd the economic aid ends, also the job report will be in october and in november the budget will be reviewed for federal aid (that is what i understood), is it good to wait to September 2) my idea is to buy enough stocks so that i can use the dividend reinversment plan so the investment buys more stocks and later on i could add more stocks, but they buy themselves passively, dont know if this is a good approach, i know how much stocks i would need to buy for the plan to start working, is this good 3) i am not from the states i am from the caribbean so i dont know what brooker should i try, any info on this

    Help regarding international ETF’s

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 05:44 AM PDT

Hi, I was just wondering how an international ETF works with different time zones and trading periods. As the ETF is designed to mimic the performance of the market, wouldn't you be able to (if you are in an exchange that opens for trade after the overseas ETF) see the data for that day and know how the ETF will move? If not, why?

I ask this question as I am quite new to the index investing scene and am thus looking to improve my knowledge on this subject. For example, I have invested in VGS, an international ETF from vanguard that tracks several international shares. So theoretically if I were to just search up the previous day's share performance in the index, wouldn't I know the exact time to, say, buy the dip?

The S&P is a Magical Horn of Plenty

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 11:32 AM PDT

Who knew investing in the S&P 500 would be so easy?

    Apparently everyone, that's who.

What an absolutely magical money-machine to have access to. The chart looks ridiculous. A straight line endlessly going up -- with no dips or corrections to interrupt it anywhere! It's as if some kind of natural law were at work here, where everything can only go up.

I'm so happy for this magical horn of plenty. It looks like financial systems have finally abandoned prudish notions of PE ratios and are freely giving out stocks in their money machines with no regard for superstitions like fundamentals.

That's wrong. The NEW fundamentals are that the S&P will only go up. I just dumped all of my VXX, gold, I liquidated money I'd been setting aside for my wedding and all my crypto holdings so I could qualify for extra leverage on Robinhood to go all in on index funds on the S&P. Seatbelts on boys, it's going to be a long, boring and stable ride to the top!

By the way. I shouldn't have to say this but this is 100% a parody. What a shitshow! I've got my shares in VXX and the current Ponzi scheme that is the market makes me nervous every day as it dances higher and higher on the knife's edge.
