3rd month on my own. Currently #1/30 in sales.

3rd month on my own after two months of training. Currently ranked 1/30 in the branch. I am already at my quarterly Quota with 16 days left for the period. My quota was fairly attainable, but I have really excelled in my role here. I credit my boss for being fairly hard on me and challenging me to be better. I also credit having an effective plan; and making it a point to call and introduce yourself to as many people as possible during the call block.

I have learned very quickly the importance of making a good introduction and trying to learn more about the roles of the folks you are engaging with on the phones. I am growing accounts that were left for dead due to immense laziness and ineptitude and feels like i'm fishing with dynamite.

In my opinion, the key to sales is; communication, effort, planning, timing, and being coachable. Bonus points when asking for referrals, and following up with tasks/emails/quotes/leads.

    Anybody here worked at SpotOn?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 08:09 PM PDT

I was messaged by a recruiter and went through with the phone screen, seemed promising so I did some research. From Glassdoor it seems like a great place to work. Have the final interview next week and it seems like they are excited to get me. Has really good reviews with a 4.1 star rating which is damn good on glassdoor. Just want to know if anyone has some good feedback as far as working for them goes. I've got 3 years of B2b sales and would love to stay in it. Currently working in B2B and not loving the company I am working for as the commission structure is quite miniscule to be frank. Any and all feedback is welcome. thanks in advance!

Client Made A Joke About My Competitor

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 09:10 PM PDT

Hey all, a client made a joke about my competitor banging all the time on his door. He's one of my larger clients, how concerned should I be?

Again it was more of a joke saying he's always going to keep me on my toes, competition is always calling on him, and he says he's covered but wanted to let me know. Again, we had 1 small problem lately but otherwise it's been a solid relationship.

I have been stressed out to the max since he's said this earlier today
