Pricing strategy where pricing changes depending on market value Posted: 28 May 2021 06:27 PM PDT Hey guys, Sorry in advance if this is childish, or not allowed here. I am a bookkeeper in training, and am looking at an additional way to learn the concepts like it is second nature. It's an online computer game that includes a crafting and buying/selling system. The game also includes a major market/exchange where you can sell items as well as buy them. I am looking at creating a Quickbooks file (maybe a waste of time, but I have time to waste) based around my good manufacturing and sales. The thing is, the market may change the value of my items based on the expected factors. Is there a pricing strategy where I update the sale pricing based on the current market value? If so, how often would I update the pricing? Daily? Weekly? Or would I apply a typical cost markup strategy and hope they are selling at competitive price? [link] [comments] |

A Netflix for cooking: Business Idea Posted: 28 May 2021 09:38 AM PDT Hey, My first post here. I came With this idea with Covid-19 as the context, there is a huge motivation in the population with access to the internet to consume as well as showcase talent related content. We are looking at cooking as one of the talents that has gained a lot of interest. So I want to create an online platform to capitalize on this trend. I plan to partner with and get together some of the top chefs on the platform to produce video segments with their top recipes. As a product, I am looking for guidance on framing the strategy. I am am faced with the following questions. What would your thought process be if you were an entrepreneur in this journey? I found that https://yeschef.me/ is doing something similar and liked the model. 1.What is the value proposition to the different stake holders of the platform? 2.What are the customer segments that this platform could be positioned towards? 3.What is the strategy to attract and retain more chefs? What is the strategy to attract and retain more visitors on the platform? 4.What are the ways in which this platform could be monetized? Any suggestions are welcome [link] [comments] |

My Next Steps.. What Should I Do? Posted: 28 May 2021 12:13 PM PDT So, around one month ago I decided to open a little dropshipping store. I'm 18 years old and I love business so I thought opening a little store would give me lots of experience and give me a taste of what the business world is like. All I'm going to say, is that I'm in the clothing niche. I'm about one month in and I have done £2500 in sales. I know this is not an incredible number, but this is with no marketing. I have only used two Instagram influencers that didn't even get me many sales as influencer marketing is so saturated. I really know my business can be scalable to be doing £2.5k a day with the right approach. I have been mainly making all my sales on a selling app that is not to popular but still known to many. My competitors have all had a massive decrease in sales since I have come onto the scene and been selling on the app. The main reason why is because my items are cheaper. As this is all being drop shipped, I have never touched the stock in my life. All the photos of what the suppliers have given me. I'm starting to think to order the best sellers into my house to take custom photography, and perhaps get some models and a photographer to help out. I just really don't know how I can make this more scalable. As all the sales have been mainly coming from that selling app like mentioned. Like what is the best marketing approach for this type of niche. I just know it can turn massive. I just really don't know what to do from this point. Google ads? Facebook ads? YouTube ads? Tiktok ads? Instagram influencers? I don't know if this makes sense, but my overall question is how can I get my brand out there. I have a budget which I can spend but I want to take the right approach. Any advice is appreciated. No one DM me about sharing my store information or trying to sell me an agency package. Thank you [link] [comments] |
I'm 16.. I created a website for young Introverts..But I need help Posted: 28 May 2021 06:04 AM PDT So about 2 weeks ago I created my first website dedicated to giving young introverts a low-intensity space to share and feel heard. I saw how most social media sites nowadays just spam us with content and it can be hard to share an experience we might have without being judged. So I created this site to do exactly that. It has actually gotten a lot of positive support from the introverted community which I am glad for but now I am at the point where I need to turn this feedback into actual updates. The only problem is that I sort of lack the funds and experience to get a lot of complicated features out in a timely fashion. How would you guys go about keeping the users I have happy if I am lacking team members and experience? (Btw I have a newsletter that I plan to send out to all my users to keep them in the loop so they don't think I have stopped working on this site.) Thank You [link] [comments] |
