Staying focus on one vertical or multiple? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:56 PM PDT Brain picking I have read so many stories and articles discussing on the side effect of doing to many things in the early stage of your company. I totally agree and it is the best way to go not until Covid happened that has lasted for over 8 months now, lots of businesses closed down and people loosing their jobs. Is it still advisable to stay focus on one vertical product looking at how Covid played out or what is your take and experience like so far? Thanks [link] [comments] |

Renting a shop, is it worth it? Posted: 25 Oct 2020 02:07 AM PDT So i currently operate from a garage and my business store is online , I'm looking to rent a shop to expand my business, so my question is would it be worth the extra cost that comes from renting a shop plus the petrol cost to go to the shop and back home (as the shop I'm looking to rent is far from where i live) The shop rent is around 100$ more than the garage rent I'm operating from . So what do you guys think? [link] [comments] |

Business management software like Scoro Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:17 AM PDT Is there anyone here with a team who uses software like Scoro, Accelo, Workfront with their team? I need one platform where every part of the business can be inputted, automatically and manually. So that myself and my senior managers have more sight of what is going on. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:33 AM PDT Hi! I have a master's degree in computer science and I intend to create my company soon. The idea is essentially a company that develops software, websites and apps as a service, in other words, the customers will contact us with an idea and we would develop his/her software/app/website. To promote the company I'll build a great, interactive and attractive website and then use google ads to advertise it. In terms of forming a team I'm still very undecided. I'm not sure how can I form one without money to pay their salaries, I was thinking of paying them a certain % of the projects profit. To gain more costumers i was thinking also of contacting lots of different company's and present them with projects like a better software or a more interactive website and stuff like that. Well, thats my idea... I would really appreciate if someone could tell me their opinion about it and also give me some advice. By the way, sorry for my English, im Portuguese :) [link] [comments] |
