Terminated for a “conflict of interest” that my boss knew about. Now she’s contesting unemployment. Never signed a contract.

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:59 AM PDT

I worked for a company that was made up of a non profit as well as an LLC. I was initially hired under the LLC, and signed a contract when I started. 6 months in, my employment was switched to the non profit— no contract signed when switching over. My significant other is in the same field, and my boss hired her as a contractor during my time there. She left when she wasn't able to do the work she was contracted to do due to my boss delaying the project. She explicitly told my boss she was leaving to start her own company, and did. When it actually got off the ground, my boss terminated me for a conflict of interest. I applied for and received unemployment. 4 months later, she's contesting unemployment and it is going to a hearing. I received a packet in the mail of everything she submitted and she photocopied my contract with the Llc to look like it was with the non profit, stating that I signed a contract baring me from engaging in a conflict of interest. Is this fraud on her end? Do I need a lawyer at the hearing?

Thank you everyone for the helpful replies and support!

    Edit for clarity: in Colorado.

The LLC and non-profit are two different entities with two different names. Neither owns the other, but they have one shared owner. I have contacted a lawyer but haven't finalized a contract with them. I called unemployment office yesterday and they recommended registering for the hearing but telling the officer that I needed a continuance to retain the legal team, so I think I will go that route.

    Thanks everyone!!

Rights as parent of unwed 15 year old new mom

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 01:13 AM PDT

Alright. Ya'll ready? My best friend of 30 years has a 15 year old daughter "Mia". Mia has a 16 year old boyfriend named "Kole" Mia hid a pregnancy and gave birth a couple of weeks ago. My best friend gave the boyfriend a chance to move in to be with mia and the baby but he was disrespectful, violent to the point he threw a fit and got the cops called and a DHS casr opened (not physical to mia or my friend), he used drugs in the house, wouldn't get a job, was verbally abusive to my friend and Mia but Mia is in love and thinks we know nothing and she has it all figured out. My friend told Kole he cant stay there anymore and bcuz he was kicked out, Mia thinks she has the right to move out to be with him. What are my friends rights in Oklahoma as her mother. I know that Mia has rights and custody of her own baby, but what about rights and custody of herself? And does she have to let the 16 year old boyfriend live in her house?

[NY] Friend has been applying for Unemployment Benefits since May but hasn't heard back yet. Calls several agencies daily, but no help. Eviction moratorium ends Aug 20, and she has been told that she will be evicted the next day. She has a child (8yo). What can we do?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:42 AM PDT

I'm sorry if this isn't the right flair or even the right sub for this post.

Friend, B, lives in upstate NY and does not have a job. She was on worker's comp (from Jan 3 due to a back injury) and was told that her employer was reducing staff because of COVID and was told that there was no immediate need of her return, so she decided not to since kids were returning home (March 16) and she needed to stay home to watch her kid. She claims that she is not on worker's comp. She thinks that she is technically on payroll, since she has not explicitly been fired. Either way, she's not seeing any money from them.

She had her taxes to uphold her living and she was stretching them out until they ran out in May and that is when she started applying for unemployment benefits.

B started applying for unemployment benefits through the Department of Labor (DOL) as well as applying to DSS for temporary assistance, SNAP, etc. while waiting for unemployment benefits through DOL. She also applied to a 3rd-party, non-governmental program that offers assistance to tenants and whatnot, but hasn't heard back from them.

A few days after applying to DOL online, she started calling them multiple times a day, as whenever she navigates through the automated system, once it goes to transfer her she is hung up on. She has tried this on other phones, and other people have called for her, and the same thing happens. The only response she has from DOL is telling her to call the number that she has been calling several times a day, every week day.

DSS says that she would receive a "drastic reduction" if she doesn't choose child support, and will receive nothing if she isn't claiming unemployment. Even ignoring the latter, she cannot claim child support since her child is the result of rape, and she hasn't been able to get the offender's information since. She claims that she had once been able to get benefits from DSS without choosing child support, but the person with whom she had last spoken on the phone insists that she needs it (even though it should still happen with the "drastic reduction" -- idk what's going on).

As far as the non-government agency goes, she's been calling them as frequently as DOL/DSS and still hasn't heard anything.

I believe that I will be able to provide her with housing if anything (although that's not yet a guarantee), but she doesn't use Reddit and I'm not sure how else to help her since I've looked through her NY account through which she applied for the benefits and haven't been able to see anything she hasn't yet told me.

I apologize in advance for any delays in responding. I may have to wait to get extra information from her in answering certain questions.

    Thank you for your help.

Im 18. My parent is withholding my birth certificate, passport, and social security card. I cannot get a drivers license without these, and i cannot get a job. What are my options?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 11:20 AM PDT

My mom refuses to give these items to me. There is no way to negotiate with her; she's going through the court system right now and is being mandated to check into some kind of mental hosipal (she was abusive and insane). I start college in two weeks and without them, i cannot get a job. My passport (which she is withholding) is outdated, my driving permit is expired.

I was told to get a replacement birth certificate, but that is supposedly impossible because according to Illinois law "A valid government issued photo identification (ID) that must be readable and is not expired/out of date (if an ID is not provided, unreadable, or expired, the request will be returned unprocessed)".

It seems like the process is birth certificate -> passport -> social security card -> renew expired driving permit -> drivers license -> job. Will I (or my dad) have to sue her for these items? What are my options?

Teenage daughter is 2/3 of the way through intensive inpatient drug addiction rehabilitation and insurance is refusing to cover the remaining 14 days.

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:04 AM PDT

Our daughter came to us at the end of last month to let us know that she needed professional help and did not know where to turn for drug addiction. She had told us she'd been using Xanax, other prescription drugs, and extreme doses of Benadryl to get high.

We got her into an inpatient rehabilitation facility for teenage girls, and her recovery has thankfully been going well despite her also admitting after a couple weeks there that she had also become addicted to other harder drugs like cocaine, LSD, and had tried heroin. We received a telephone call this morning from the facility stating that they are denying her remaining 14 days of treatment because it is "no longer medically necessary" for her to remain in the program and that she is ready for outpatient treatment. The company was informed that the local area we live in does not offer any sort of outpatient treatment options and that the program she is in is designed to be a full 45 days long. The provider is filing an appeal this afternoon, however if the appeal is denied we will have to pull her from the program by the middle of the afternoon tomorrow. We spoke with her via Zoom meeting with her assigned therapist and she is terrified of relapsing due to missing out on the final two weeks of the program that she is being denied.

Do we have any legal options that we can pursue to get her the coverage that she will need, or are we simply at the mercy of what the insurance company decides?

Edit: We are located in South Texas; our insurance is through Blue Cross / Blue Shield of California, and they have been working through a company called Magellan.

Custodial parent joined military and didn’t tell us, has lied to court about who has custody of our children

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:37 AM PDT

Throwaway because don't want to be identified. On mobile.

We are in Texas. My husband has shared custody of his 8 year old twins. Their mom has physical custody.

In May, she informed us that she has moved the kids out of state to live with her mom and she would be joining them end of August after finalizing the sale of her house. We have already contacted an attorney and planned to file for custody in hopes of reaching a better arrangement because of this.

Today, we learned through social media that BM has enlisted in the military and left for training camp. She has told us nothing about this and is still going along as if she is moving with the kids as stated. Because my husband is ex-military, we know that she is unable to enlist as a single parent without transferring custody of the kids. Obviously, custody was not transferred to us as we were not informed of any of this happening. As far as we know she has not told the court about any of this either, she's only updated her address to her mom's address and told them she was relocating with the kids. We're both pretty upset, she's basically given custody of our kids to someone else and tried to ensure she's still getting child support from us.

My husband is going to call our lawyer on his lunch break to update him and I'm assuming we will now be filing for emergency custody. I guess I'm just kind of looking for advice or to see if I can get a better idea of what might happen from here. Thanks in advance.

Pharmacy has been giving me the wrong prescription for months

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:29 AM PDT

A couple days ago I (21 F, UT, USA) received a frantic call from my doctor letting me know that the prescription I had asked to refill is not what I had been prescribed. I am supposed to be on Fluoxetine and Lipitor, but three months ago my pharmacist mistyped Lipitor for Lexipro. The pills look the exact same (round and white) so I thought nothing of it (yes, I feel really dumb). My doctor says I have serotonin syndrome. This explains all of the crazy side effects I've been having for months- insomnia, stomach issues, night sweats, and the most hellish, intrusive suicidal ideation and impulses to self harm. My depression seriously has never been worse. I've also had to sleep with saltine crackers on my nightstand due to insane episodes of nausea that occur in the middle of the night. On top of that, for three months I haven't been taking my Lipitor, aka a statin for my heart. This is... bad. As a young adult I'm not really sure what to do, I never thought I'd be in this situation. My mom wants to find an attorney, and I'm having mixed feelings. Should we pursue legal action?

caught my neighbor stealing my package...

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:14 PM PDT

TLDR: neighbor is a thief that lives 2 doors down. Caught him stealing a time sensitive package, but he ran back into his apartment. Should I inform law enforcement and risk my safety for a month or let it go? I live in Los Angeles, so non-emergency lines are packed.

As in the title, caught my neighbor trying to steal a package outside of my door that was scheduled for pickup. I live in a small complex and a lot of my neighbors are older folks who keep to themselves. I've had a few packages go missing and reached out to management - they've previously responded with "remind ur neighbors to keep the front gate closed!"

Yesterday, I finally caught someone and to my surprise, it was my neighbor who had told me in the past that 'I've lived here for 20 years and no one steals around here.'

I had my package right next to my screen door. The door is opaque, so he couldn't see me but I could see him. (I heard someone walking over and hoped it was the fedex guy) He walked over to the corner units nearby and checked them out, then picked up my package and tried to dart down the stairwell. I opened the door and go, "hey, don't take that - that's mine." He dropped it immediately, says "oh sorry bout that" and then goes up the other set of stairs on another visible side of the complex. At this point, I'm a little shocked and still watching him as he goes back into his unit. (he took off his shirt between the time he was caught and hurrying back to his unit so I wouldn't know it was him, but I already knew he was wearing a white shirt)

I'm a young woman with no roommates and he's an older guy who is easily 4x my size/stature. I feel completely violated and weary about leaving my space, given he lives 2 doors down and I'm afraid to confront him further.

My lease is up in a month. Is it even worth contacting law enforcement or telling my management I caught someone? Or do I wait out my lease?

(Typically wouldn't be this anxious, but the package was a time sensitive at-home COVID test)

Boss asking me to work for no pay

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:32 AM PDT

    Hello all,

I've run into an issue at my job. Today, in a meeting, my boss told me that our company was "out of money" and that I may have to work for the next two months without pay. Obviously, I have no intention of working for no pay, nor can I afford to. My main question is, if this is the case, how do I terminate my job such that I am eligible for unemployment. He never officially called this a "lay-off," and I'm just very uncertain about the process. After some preliminary googling, I saw that I may have to work for no pay for some period before being able to claim unemployment under a lay-off. Any advice or clarification on this topic would be appreciated.

I am located in SC and my job is remote in NY for reference.

    Thanks.

Landlord Charging me Extra Rent Because She Was On Vacation

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:33 AM PDT

I was renting an apartment and decided to move out a couple months early. The early termination fee was an extra month's rent, due 30 days in advance. I gave them this 33 days in advance (May 22nd), along with a (dated) letter stating my intentions. The leasing manager was on vacation, and she didn't cash the check/process my early termination until at least 2 weeks later, (June 9th) causing my 30 day notice to be "begin" June 9th, and therefore resulting in me paying an extra ~2 weeks of rent when I wasn't living there.

In addition to the dated letter that I have an electronic copy of, I have a copy of the check dated May 22nd and handed in the keys to the apartment on June 24th (our move out day). We're being charged rent up through July 9th. The leasing manager says she's looking into it and will call me back, although they have rarely called back in the past on other matters. Are there any steps I should take here? It's worth about 400 dollars to me, which would be nice to have but not a huge deal luckily.

My apartment complex sent out an updated covid lease agreement. Can I break the lease if I don’t sign the updated one? [TX]

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 11:34 AM PDT

So I signed a lease for an apartment for college last year not knowing that it was going to be virtual. I am unable to break the lease. However, my apartment just sent out an updated lease agreement with some covid-19 related stuff on there, such as they are not responsible for protection of covid, etc. I don't agree with one of their terms which says that they are not obligated to report any cases of covid in the building. What would happen if I refuse to sign this updated agreement? Would it still be possible to break the lease? I live in Texas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Former Landlord wants $2,500 for cleaning my last apartment and is taking me to court over it.

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 11:04 AM PDT

From September 1st, 2015 through September 30, 2019, I lived in a two-bedroom apartment unit with my brother. It was small, about 600 square feet, but pretty nice on the inside. When we moved out we did normal cleaning of the bathroom, shampooed the carpets a few times and cleaned every surface in every room.

To both of our surprise, a couple of months weeks* later we saw that not only were they keeping our $625 secuirty deposit and $49.53 sewage overpayment, they also wanted an additional $1815.97 to clean the place. Every item listed was wear and tear and was pretty normal for a four year residency. Nothing was broken or had to be fixed or replaced. All was cleaning. The itemized bill was absurd, with $700 for each of the two bedrooms to clean the walls, $350 to clean the dining room walls, $150 to clean the oven, as well as a slew of other outrageous charges including $50 to clean the garage that we never used because it was too small for our vehicles and $10 to replace said garage's lightbulb. There was a total of $320 in charges to clean the carpet that we had already shampooed three times. An item was left in the medicine cabinet, which they charged $30 to clean and remove. Another $50 was charged for the kitchen cabinets having "some scrapes by the handles."

Even fully cleaning and painting over a wall and making it look brand new should not cost anywhere near that much. They sent us pictures of the dirty walls and carpets as proof but we were not disputing they were dirty as we lived there for four years. We were simply disputing the unbelievable prices they were charging for cleaning up for the next tenant.

As a result, we decided that we absolutely were not going to pay the bill. We sent and signed a dispute of debt letter to the agency which is pursuing the debt, which they replied to by sending back an itemized list of the debt which we have already seen many times. Now we have a court date set on 08/27. I wonder if they are going to garnish the debt from our wages and am wondering what the best next step is. Contacting a lawyer could easily outweigh that cost very quickly, so I am considering calling to discuss a smaller out-of-court settlement. Any advice would be much appreciated!

    EDIT: I live in Wisconsin.

Would it be illegal if I gave my baby up for adoption without my husband’s Permission

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:25 AM PDT

    I(24f) have a husband(30m) and a new born child.

My husband admitted to wanting a child knowing I didn't so he poked holes in his condoms hoping to get me pregnant. When I found out I was he claimed that it must be meant to be since we took all of the precautions we could. I wanted to abort but he got mad and told me that I'm not killing his child.

When he told me what He did I started crying that he put me through so much pain during the pregnancy and risked my life(almost bled out) instead of finding someone who wants kids. I'm not sure what to do, I need advice

[Ohio] I am a non-immigrant alien in constructive possession of a firearm. Am I breaking the law?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:17 AM PDT

    Ohio.

This situation is kind of complex so I'll try to stick to the facts and my questions. Hopefully this isn't above Reddit's pay grade because I otherwise don't know where to turn.

    About my status:

    • I am a Canadian citizen in Ohio on F-1 student status.
    • I do not have a traditional visa because Canadians do not require them to study. I have never attended a visa interview.
    • I possess an I-20 with F-1 listed as the class of admission.
    • My passport has an I-94 departure record stapled into it with a DHS admission stamp that says "duration of studies" as the expiry date.
    • I have an alien/admission number.

    My situation:

    • My girlfriend is an American citizen.
    • We live together.
    • She lawfully owns a firearm (shotgun) for home defense and owned it before meeting me.
    • I have access to the firearm since it is in my home.
    • We have transported the firearm to and from the range in my vehicle. I have transported the firearm to the range alone in my vehicle and shot it there. I have also been the driver while transporting her and the firearm to the range.

This situation arose because I have begun looking into purchasing my own weapon for home defense. We live in a dangerous area where home defense weapons are common, and Ohio has castle doctrine.

During my research, I came across the ATF's guidelines on gun ownership for non-immigrant aliens and I am unsure of how I fit in, and if I have been in unlawful (constructive) possession of a firearm without realizing.

What I have found so far:

    My questions:

    • Do I have a visa because I was admitted under F-1 status despite not attending any visa interview? Does my F-1 status signify "visa status," and is "visa status" even a thing?
    • If no, what qualifies me for residence in Ohio? I have filed income tax in Ohio since 2016, but I generally get breaks because I am a non-permanent resident. Does this disqualify me from residency?
    • Have I broken the law? If so, what steps should I take immediately?
    • If no, am I legally able to purchase a firearm in Ohio?

Hopefully this all makes sense. I have already reached out to my designated school official at my school's international student office, but they flat out refused to advise me on gun ownership and even refused to refer me to someone who can answer my questions. I am terrified at the prospect that I may have been putting my status in jeopardy by unknowingly breaking the law.

Any help would be appreciated, even if it's to point me elsewhere.

    Thank you.

I'm getting let go from my job because I'm pregnant, what can I do?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:47 AM PDT

I work for a small law firm in a state that does have anti-discrimination laws in place, Ohio. My bosses have been fairly unpleasant to me since finding out about my pregnancy, and I've already been denied time off for necessary doctor appointments, and denied paid sick time that I would normally otherwise receive. Then a day or so ago they both pulled me into a meeting where they told me that they can't afford to keep me working here while I am pregnant as they won't give me time off for doctor appointments, paid sick leave, or maternity leave.

They didn't give me a day that they want me to leave by, and haven't mentioned anything since then. It's very stressful working in an environment like this and I have some important upcoming appointments that I need to go to for my sake and the baby's. I don't wish to retaliate at this time, or test their skills as attorneys taking them to court, I just want to get myself and the baby into a healthier situation. I'm afraid to quit and risk not getting much needed unemployment, but staying until they officially tell me to leave is really difficult as they are clearly trying to get me to quit. What can I do?

Someone stole money out of an estate account that my dad is the executor for, while it was in probate, what can we do?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 02:01 PM PDT

So someone broke into our garage, and took a check from my dad's checkbook, put their name on the check and made it out for $1300, then they traced his signature and cashed it. The account it was cashed from, was my grandfather's estate account, which had my dad, and his sisters inhertiance. When this check was cashed, the account was in probate, so any funds that were allowed to be used, were official funds, such as any bills and my grandfather's name, and paying the realtors who sold his house. We know the person's name, from the check, we don't know who this person is, and we know that the check was not written in my dad's handwriting, but that's all we know.

This check was cashed in december, and my dad only found out about it today. He's already contacted the probate lawyer, and the bank about this situation.

    Location is California.

My bf's ex gave the kids back but still wants to collect child support

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:03 PM PDT

My bf and his ex have 3 boys together (2yo, 6yo, 8yo). The BF and his ex were never legally married and they split about two years ago. The boys all lived with him until their school started in the fall of 2019, then she said she needed them to live with her. Shortly after that she filed for child support through the Texas Attorney General.

By November of 2019 she had decided she couldn't handle taking care of the three boys while working and gave them back to my BF. The BF had been driving nearly 2 hours round trip every few days to pick the big boys up from school because she was busy working and sometimes he would keep them through the night during the weeks as well. She just couldn't handle the boys and her work schedule. They were quickly enrolled in his schools and saw their mother every other weekend if she wasn't too busy.

He immediately told the Attorney General office that she had turned the boys over to him. The Attorney General office had my BF jumping through hoops, sending the same paperwork multiple times due to their losses and still sending him letters saying he owes child support.

Every time they have tried to get in contact with the mother they've been unable to find her. She's basically a nomad and crashes on friends and family members couches. She has never updated her address from when she split with my BF. She doesn't answer the phone calls and they can't confirm an address for her to send her letters.

During all this time the Attorney General collected some payments from my BF and held them due to the case being pending. They released money to the mother this past month and when questioned they've said since they can't contact her to get her side of the story then they're going to have to continue collecting child support payments from my BF.

We're currently having a lot of issues finding a lawyer that does free consultations, is taking new cases and accepts payment plans and as one could assume there isn't a lot of spare money due to feeding and raising 3 boys, paying the mother child support and keeping the bills above water during Covid-19. Most of the free or Pro Bono lawyers we have found are not accepting cases unless they have to do with evictions or the virus.

He has provided the Attorney General all the requested paperwork multiple times, requested a modification of the child support order and has been told until the mother's child support case is closed he cannot even try to open his own against her.

Anyone have some advice how to proceed?

TLDR: my bf's ex doesn't physically have custody of their kids but won't contact the attorney general office to shut off his child support payments. Help!

Is it legal to be caught masturbating in your apartment that you're renting?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 11:59 AM PDT

So, I live in college apartment housing. The people who own the housing are EXTREMELY disrespectful and have invaded my privacy multiple times- they'll knock on the door whenI will literally scream from the top of my lungs to wait and they literally just barge in as I'm changing. I'm working from home so I'm always just chilling in my underwear, so I always gotta put on pants and they never wait.

My boyfriend is also fed up w/ it since he's been living with me for the last month. As an idea for revenge, he wants to have them open the door to him wanking it. I'm honestly down for the idea but wanna make sure that there's no legality issues involved w this?

Small Business/LLC Being Sued for “Additional Damages”

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 05:59 AM PDT

    Hey guys!

I am a partner in a small business LLC that's currently under the threat of lawsuit by one of our clients. To keep the story as short as possible, our company sells vintage designer furniture from the 50's/70'/80's. We are located in NJ & sold a sofa ($3,200) to a client in California, the delivery service we used unfortunately stained the sofa during delivery.

We offered the clients a full refund (despite it being not our companies policy) & apologized. They refused and wanted the sofa since they truly loved it. So they shopped around and found someone to reupholster the sofa for $4,000. We told them we can pay $2,000 of that and call it even. The client said we are liable to pay the entire $4,000 for reupholstery & new fabric. We disagreed.

We finally came to an agreement where we will ship the sofa back from California to NJ so we can clean & fix the sofa again with a company out here that we trust. During this process I sent the clients pictures & videos of the repairs & cleaning done to the sofa. They approved of the repairs (via text) and we then again for a third time paid to ship the sofa across country.

When it finally got to the clients house they said it still wasn't up to par and they wanted a complete refund now. We told them that offer is no longer on the table and that we are now taking a massive loss on the sofa since we paid to ship it three times across country & had it professionally cleaned & restored.

So now we are being sued for full refund ($3,200) + $5,000 in "additional damages". I believe the additional damages is stress caused because of this whole issue.

    What steps should I take?

    Thank you Reddit!

Landlord charges $75 to tenant everything something he’s responsible for breaks.

My girlfriends landlord charges her $75 every time he has to come out to look at something that breaks. For instance, in the past the ceiling fan, water heater, and refrigerator have all had to be serviced and every time she called him to report it, he charges her $75 to have someone come out and repair it. Today the AC went out, and same story. Is this legal?

    Edit: This is in Texas

    Clause in Will against Homosexuality?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 07:52 AM PDT

Hi, I'm 15 and from England. My mother often threatens me with putting a clause in a will that says if i commit homosexuality or other 'devious acts' *she will leave nothing to me (*not sure if i remembered the last part correctly). I told her that it isn't possible to do something like that, and she said she had already talked to her lawyer about it. I'm extremely confused and worried that something like this could actually exist? I tried researching about it and I found little to nothing. I'm also an only child and my father has already passed away, and left most of his stuff to me. Any and all help is appreciated, thanks :)

Girl accused me of rape and I am absolutely terrified. Officer called me and wants to interview me in 2 weeks. Please help I am scared out of my life

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:39 AM PDT

I have very bad OCD so when the police department called me I revealed everything, my name, my address, everything. I was so terrified and paranoid idk if I was supposed to do that.

Anyway, this girl hit me up on a dating app and told me to come over almost IMMEDIATELY, which was a huge red flag. But I was lonely and desperate so I went over. We cuddled for a bit, she said before that we were going to have sex. We cuddled, I made some advances, and I made sure to ask before I did anything because I didn't want to be accused of anything. I did not rape her. We almost got to penetrating, but right as I was about to enter she told me she didn't want to do it, so I stopped.

This is where it ends, I stayed around for a bit, wondering if we could still hang out, and she wanted me to leave so I did. I blocked her and never turned back.

This morning I recieve a call from an officer, and he says he wants to interview me in two weeks. What the fuck do I say. Am I screwed? I'm 21 I have so much ahead of me. I did not rape her. Do I need an attourney? Do I tell my parents what the fuck do i do? I'm at the lowest point right now in my life and I did not fucking need this!
