    How to download the songs?

You can download all of them in one RAR file by following this Bandcamp link.

What's the total size of the library and in which format do they come in?

Total file size varies in format. You can download the songs in MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG, ALAC, WAV and AIFF formats. If you'd like to download the songs in MP3 format, the total file size would be 488MB. If you'd want to go with WAV format, then the total size would be 3.2 GB.

What about the license? (CC BY 4.0)

You can use any song in this library in anyway you want, be it as a sound effect in your game or as a background music in one of your Youtube & Twitch videos, even commercially. If you'd like to find more information about the license, please check this creativecommons.org link. Providing an appropriate credit (Either Composed by onemansymphony.bandcamp.com or patreon.com/onemansymphony) is required.

Can I remix the songs in the library?

As long as you provide an appropriate credit to the original album, you can do whatever you want to do with them.

What is the future of this library? How can I support it?

I'm planning to expand this library's content as much as possible, and doing so takes a great amount of time, and calls for new virtual instruments and tools to create songs in rich and different sound. My current goal is to keep adding more songs in different genres into this library as well as creating environmental sound effects in high quality. Due to this reason, I created a Patreon page if you'd like to support this project. By becoming a Patron, you'll get access to the loop files, bonus and alternative songs and sound effects that are not included in the public library hosted on Bandcamp.

    Are these songs loopable?

Almost every single song in the album (with a few exceptions here and there) is loopable. While producing these songs, I always paid extra attention to make them as loopable as possible since some users would like to break a song into seperate pieces and just want to use that specific section of the song in their projects, and some people might like to extend a specific part of the song for adaptive sound design purposes. I am very well aware of that modern video games call for an application of adaptive sound design. A song which is made of different sections should be easily loopable & cuttable and any section of the song should be easily extandable. And whenever a transition occurs, it should sound as smooth as possible. These were the things that I kept in my mind while composing these pieces. If you'd like to create your own loop files out of these songs, you can use a free software such as Audacity to do so and refer to its manual to learn more about how looping is done. If you don't want to spend your time with the process of looping, you can subscribe to my $1 tier on Patreon where you can get access to the loop files of the songs in the library.

    Is this album updated regularly?

Yes! Whenever I add a new song or sound effect to the library, I announce it on my Twitter. I would suggest checking the tweets or the album page regularly if you're in need of new music frequently.

Feel free to ask if you guys have any questions.

New Entrepreneurial Sub - We don't post specific ideas but instead identify general significant problems that need to be solved.

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 08:37 PM PDT

    Sub: r/SomebodySolveThis

We focus more on general problems and not specific ideas. That way you can come up with your own solution/idea to the problems.

Why? Because when making something really useful, I think it's more important to validate not the idea itself that solves the "problem", but the actual problem. The idea has to solve a genuine and important problem. Doing it this way, one can focus more on a problem that rings personally true and is more passionate about the idea later.

So lets focus on problems that need to be solved and upvote what we think are the most important ones.

This is a spin-off of SomebodyMakeThis , but they focus on specific ideas and not general problems.

A general problem can have several solutions. We can discuss and validate if a problem is significant enough to warrant a solution, and you can come up with the solution itself.

    You are welcome to join!

Is it still possible to make money via blogging and Amazon Affiliates?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:06 PM PDT

Hey everyone, hoping your day is going well.

I've been a member of a niche gear community for the past several years, and I've noticed that it's trending toward a very "go big or go home" ideal, which makes it difficult for newer members to get up to speed. People come in and say "this looks kind of cool, how do I get involved" and immediately get overwhelmed by the cost and time commitment and leave. It doesn't help that a lot of it just looks like hoarding from an outside perspective.

There are about a dozen blogs in this niche currently, and each of them tries to outdo the last in terms of recommending more gear, more expensive gear, gear that's not actually helpful and will probably just clutter up your house, and once the community agrees on something there's no backing down. They usually recommend something around $200-400, with a "budget pick" that's closer to $100.

To combat this, I've been buying gear closer to $10-35 and testing it myself, and I've found that a lot of it works just as well as the name brand stuff. It's not always the case, but a lot of the time it is.

I've been considering starting a blog aimed at people who aren't sure if this hobby is for them, but want to give it a shot without spending too much. I'm also a huge fan of Marie Kondo's and Mr. Money Mustache's ideals about minimalism, so I tend to incorporate those ideals into my hobby as well.

    Thoughts/ideas?

Shopify vs Etsy for custom t-shirt

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:35 PM PDT

I'd like to start selling my t-shirt online. I'm targeting a niche market.

Would you recommend going the Shopify + Printiful or the Etsy + Printiful route?

Ultimately I might apply for Amazon Merch but I need to show them that my t-shirts can sell.

I can surely build a brand but it's not a must and I'm pretty sure I would still sell many t-shirts without a strong brand.

    Is it worth using Shopify?

looking for advice regarding the luxury resale market :)

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:15 PM PDT

i just graduated from high school but throughout the 4 years i've become really interested in the luxury resale market. I've always considered jumping into the market as a seller but my parents advised me to wait a little bit as I can be a little all over the place with things. ex. ill be really interested in something one moment and forget about it the next.

but i think im at a place where i could start becoming a seller. ive already shown an interest over a number of years, i am very interested in fashion and know trends, interests what could sell, and i have a bit of money saved up so i can start with a couple items but i wouldn't have to borrow any money from anyone. the only thing i am a little uncertain about is the market. i think it could go one of two ways: people will have some money saved up from a lack of shopping over the past couple months and will be more open to buying some luxury goods at a more affordable price or people will start to see through the value of luxary goods and not be interested in spending so much on clothing etc.because of maybe unemployment? or maybe people won't be interested in supporting luxury brands as much because they have not been inclusive and supportive in diversifying the industry.

just looking for some advice on whether i should hold off for a little to get more of a sense for the market or is i should just jump in. thank you for reading!

Setting up solid guidelines and hiring the right talent?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 12:53 PM PDT

hiring guidelines, project management guidelines, freelance guidelines. How does a person make sure processes are well set up, managed and improved on?

The second part, how does a person hire the type of talent that is able to understand the company, understand how to sell the product well and really get to it like a fish in water? For instance If I hire someone to help with marketing strategy I should pick someone that is well versed in my industry, and is high level. If I pick a digital marketer they should understand the company's value and product.

My father who is 40 years old and a OFW (he works in other country and send us money) dreams to own a business to pass on to me and my siblings. He talks to me about becoming accountant and learning more about market and to become a business owner. My father hates to work for other people and talk about me hating it when i get to his age. Anyway, im kinda lost i want to help my family build a small business but the problem is we cant think of anything. My parent tried 3 times but they failed resulting in a fight, loss of money and hard work. Now im 18 my father told me to help them build a business and im loss on what to do. I read books about marketing, investing and other stuff. I just want an advice on what kind of business they should build and what kind of thing i can do to help them. Any suggestion is good i just want something that can help my family. My dream is not to become a millionare or anything great. I just want to make my family to be happy. 32 years old. Leaving my day job soon with no definite income

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:34 AM PDT

I've been doing this for few years. I have emergency fund saved so I can survive for a year without a job.

My interest in video production ( shooting , editing and writing)

I'm good at communicating my vision and guiding people.

The reason I want to leave is I don't see any value doing my current job. I'm bored to death and I feel I become dull doing it.

I want to focus on leveling my video production skills and learn new skill like coding.

I don't really have commitments ( no wife or kids and no house mortgage)

What advise would you give me at this point ?

social media books / advice / agencies?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 12:50 PM PDT

We're building an investments and politics newsletter and we're not great at social media. (My co-founder has a data science background and I have an operations background).

Long term, we know we're going to have to hire for this skill - either in-house or through an agency. But for now, we're in DIY mode -- so two questions:

Do you have books / articles / advice on starting a social media strategy? Our focus is on text-heavy content, so twitter, fb, and linkedin seem like the most natural fits?

When we do get to in-house hire or agency, how does one evaluate "social media skill"? I keep reading horror stories of folks paying marketing firms big $, and getting a stream of generic and un-engaged content, or empty followers. What's a reasonable price to pay to build an audience of 10k engaged followers over a 4-6 month time period? Or am I even asking the right questions?

Any and all advice on building an effective social media presence is welcome!

I’m 15 and a rising sophomore in highschool. My goal in life is to be extremely successful but I feel like I should be doing things now to gain experience with all this time I have. What should I be doing? (will respond to everyone)

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:51 AM PDT

I live In Atlanta. I've read a few success books but my favorite is Rich Dad Poor Dad. I've been interested in reselling things. I've seen some videos about reselling iphones, the basics of reselling shoes, and I've heard of dropshipping on shopify from Aliexpress. The only things i've done for money so far in my life is mow the lawn for my mom for a bit of cash and allowance.

I'm just really determined to, at the very least, get some experience under my belt so I know what I'm doing when I'm a bit older. I'm going to college, but I don't really care about degrees or anything so really just for the memories and connections.

I don't really know what I want right now, I just know I should be doing something if I'm going to be rich in the future.

Does anyone have an idea of what I can be doing right now? This could be literally anything: ideas on reselling, videos on how to, etc.

I know this was long but I kinda got carried away lol

Any help would mean so much to me, thanks

edit: i currently have $150 to my name

A 19 years old who is completely lost and need some advices ( will respond to everyone)

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 08:15 AM PDT

Hi everyone. I'm a 19 years old college student based in Hanoi, Vietnam. A little bit about my story (it's so long but I would appreciate if you take your time to read everything and help me. Thank you) I'm studying Tourism and Travel Management but as you know, due to the pandemic, everything that is related to tourism is basically f-up. I am completely lost at the moment. I love traveling and my dream is to travel the world. But I don't want to and will never rely upon my parents to accomplish my dream so I get myself a job as soon as I get into college even though my parents want me to focus on studying. I also love languages and I can speak 4 languages: English, Vietnamese, French and a little Spanish. I have a freelance job as a translator but I can not make a living with it because my language pair is very competitive and there are not enough job for everyone. Recently, I spend my time to read books such as " How to win friends and influence people", "I'm gifted and so are you"... and learn about E-commerce through Youtube videos and blog posts. However, I'm becoming depressed and stressed because I don't know what is the right path for me and I am even questioning my own decision whether I made a wrong decision to choose my major because when I was in high school, I wanted "a job" which allowed me to travel a lot. At that time, I did not know anything about freelancing and E-commerce, they were not taught at school and when I entered college, I found out that there were other ways to travel without having to work 9 to 5. I felt in love with freelancing and E-commerce at first sight. I have been working and learning new skills for almost a year. I have failed many times but the more I fail, the more I want to move forward. I just want to make enough money to travel full time, I don't want to be a multi-millionaire or something like that. If you have made this far, thank you for spending your precious time reading my story. I need advices from you about what to do, where to start and tips. I will respond to every comments I get. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Organizing a fintech startup - where do I begin?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 11:07 AM PDT

    Hey, all,

A few months ago, I put together a group of redditors and spun off of r/wsb. There's been significant turnover, but I now have a group of around 15 people, a dev team, and a financial analyst team.

We tooled around a bit before settling on a direction to take our talent in, and we've been working on building some fintech tools for fundamental analysis. We're kind of winging it right now, but as I bring more people in, the questions I'm asked are increasingly professional: how will I be compensated? What does the ownership structure look like? Will I retain IP rights for what I produce?

Right now, I'm leaning heavily on my de facto project manager (who has a good deal of experience starting and selling businesses) to handle these kinds of queries. Additionally, we're kind of disorganized, and it's up to my lead developer to delegate tasks to our dev team.

I'm in my early 20s, and I have no experience with business, finance, or software engineering. I kind of just fell into this because I'm good at regurgitating information in an easily understood form, and I'm setting broad goals for the team that my leads then implement at a more granular level.

I feel kind of useless, as everyone who's working with/for me is much more specialized and experienced. At best, I feel like a translator, passing information between the analysts and developers, and at worst like someone who's leeching off of other people's talent and expertise.

Realistically, though, I'm researching data packages we need to purchase, planning out a website, negotiating broad objectives for each team, and passing tasks off to my leads to work on.

I would love to eventually turn this project into an enterprise with employees and a marketable product. I just don't know where I should even begin. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, right, or if there's anything else I should be doing.

    Please halp.

Best way to find an ideal patent lawyer

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:38 AM PDT

Hello, I am interested in patenting a product idea/supplement and would like to find a patent lawyer. How would I go about finding the ideal lawyer? I am located in the NYC area.

I can easily write a strong white paper for this product idea. I need a competent lawyer who can protect the idea/product. I can explain the science well, I know the science well, I know exactly what this product is and what it can achieve. It's not rocket science when explained, I just need to patent the combination of chemicals together in a drink. I'm not looking to break the bank here, just get the protection I need.

    Thank you.

What is your definition of success?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 06:19 AM PDT

I hear a lot of people talk about pursuing entrepreneurship "to be a millionaire/billionaire/trillionaire."

They talk about not having to work and relax on the beach with a supermodel wife.

I myself, in my younger days, chased fast money, fast cars, and fast women.

But what did it gain me?

    Nothing.

Through my own journey, I have had some incredible breakthroughs along the way and have honed in my craft of Business Consulting and Entrepreneurship.

I have discovered that the greatest reward of entrepreneurship is not the result that matters, but the people I meet and help along the way.

If you ask a lay person why do they think a rock climber climbs, they might say "I don't know," or "to accomplish getting to the top."

But if you ask a professional rock climber who lives and breathes the sport, "Why do you climb?"

You will get a radically different response.

    "The thrill of the climb."

Rock climbing, such as the sport of Entrepreneurship, isn't about achieving your goals.

It's great to have goals and know your purpose and direction in life.

Yet, wouldn't you feel like a fraud if you were transported into the future when it actually happened?

Imagine asking God to be a Billionaire that accomplished all of your goals.

    He grants your prayers.

You wake up tomorrow 80 years old, with a bad hip and a limp you just sold you company for multibillions of dollars.

You worked tirelessly day and night for the last 50+ years.

    But then what?

You are old and feeble. You have no recollection of the relationships you built, fun times you had, and it is too late to start over.

My point being is to enjoy the climb.

Take those calculated risks to jump to that next rock hold that is just out of reach.

Just make sure your anchors are secure to catch you if and when you fall.

Life is an adventure, not a sprint, not a long distance run with a clear start, middle, and end.

If you don't enjoy your life right now, you are wasting your true potential.

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift... that's why they call it present."

Business owners in developing countries, what are your unique issues?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 09:29 AM PDT

For me, I just recently started an accessories brand in Jamaica 4 weeks ago. The first few weeks went great and I got a good couple orders however demand started outpacing supply and I had to order some materials. So far it's been 2 weeks since then and I've had to stop running ads and have been doing disaster control for customers who already ordered because there's only really one airline that brings in goods to Jamaica and they've cut down on their flights per week.

Any tips on managing my job, business, volunteering, and personal life?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 09:13 AM PDT

So I work a 9 to 5 job in IT, but I just officially started my business! I do web and software development( this includes automating aspects of a business to help a business's efficiency), and I even landed my first customer. I've got a few other projects that I'm in them midst of finishing for my portfolio. On my weekends, I teach homeless youth how to program (I spent 3 years from 17 to 20 being homeless myself, and after entering a bootcamp, at 23 years old, I finally have a livable income), and give free job training to new grads, as well as people of color and women that wish to enter the STEM field (I am a woman of color myself).

Besides all of this, I have also began to work very hard on being more social - up until la few weeks ago, I wasn't really socializing with anyone except my live-in boyfriend, and even then, he and I haven't been having date nights or a lot of personal time (he just entered a programming bootcamp himself). I'm just... struggling to find time for it all, and as a result, before this weekend, I got 4 hours of sleep on Thursday night, and 3 hours of sleep the two nights prior. This is terrible for my health too, as having less sleep lowers the immune system, and that is not what I need right now with COVID going on. One thing that I've been doing is forcing myself to play an hour of a video game every few days to at least get some rest and not burn out, but then I feel extremely guilty because I could be spending that time on something productive.

I need help managing where my professional, volunteering, and personal lives end and begin. I absolutely need help with Executive Function and don't quite know where to begin - I just don't want to stop doing the things that I'm passionate about (helping people) or my potential new stream of income through a time that's been financially difficult for everyone. Does anyone have any tips or reading materials they can recommend?
