    I have a question

    Posted: 02 May 2020 01:38 AM PDT

I want to start my own business selling clothes but I just realized that the method I planned on using would most likely be cheap and after one or 2 washes whatever ever I printed on the clothes would fade out. So i was wondering if i were to buy shirts from custom ink or another sight similar to it, like with my own custom logo and design would it be illegal for me to resell it online?

Small business owners, what are some things you'd like automated?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 04:47 PM PDT

What would you like changed to make your life easier, your business more stable and productive? What kinds of data would you like to collect that aren't available to you? What would you like to do automatically or remotely? Especially in light of potential disruptions like right now. Why hasn't it been done yet?

I'm an engineer sitting on my ass with nothing better to do, so spitballing ideas. Any problem or idea is up for discussion, regardless how big or small, simple or complicated it might be.

Is it illegal to have a business reselling other brands clothes?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 08:55 PM PDT

I have been thinking of starting my own business where I thrift name brand items. I was planning on having my own website and everything, but I'm just not sure if it's legal to do that. I wouldn't claim these items as my own. I don't want to use Poshmark or something, I'd rather have my own business. Is this something I can do legally?

What is a "no loss" business idea ?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 08:43 PM PDT

Developing garment distributing business. This is kind of B2B business, but also connects with the customer. I have some experience in this business.

You don't need to set up a shop. Just sell it to shops on credit basis.

Big shops will not accept this kind of business, because they buy directly from the big dealers or directly from factories.Try Small Shops, only thing they need from us is Credit.

Means they will get the Products from us and but pay after a month. More the Credit period , more you can sell it to them. But getting the payment, you want to follow it up consistently.

But there are other ways ,

Ask for a space in their shop.

Place your own rack and place your items in that.

Monthly or Weekly , visit once and get paid only for the sold items in the rack.

This makes easier for shop owner to pay , as it is a smaller amount.

Also you can find out on yourself,

    Which product is going well,

how much business you are doing from a particular shop.

Based on that , you can dump your products. If any product is not doing well , you can replace it or transfer it to other shops.

First you can try with 5 shops in different location and slowly make the progress.

You can also try this out as part time business. But follow up is very important her

    thanks-warm regards---good luck

    SURVEY: Food Waste amid Coronavirus

    Posted: 01 May 2020 08:41 PM PDT

    Hello,

I am a trainee journalist trying to pitch a story about food waste where farmers are needing to destroy food to make ends meet, due to exuberant costs. I am just gauging viewer opinion on how this could be solved or any general thoughts!

    Thanks and stay safe!

If starting a business as a teen, how will I get my money?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 08:36 PM PDT

I have a bunch of ideas, but the problem always arises with money. How will I get paid? I don't have a Paypal account or a bank account, as I'm too young for one. My parents and I also don't have a good relationship as they're really toxic. I don't know what to do, but I need a source of income to sustain myself and eventually move out ASAP. Any help would be great, thank you!

    Lets talk Tesla...

    Posted: 01 May 2020 07:07 PM PDT

    I see a lot of people advising others to invest in Tesla stocks and it is talked of like a unicorn stock which will keep rising forever. So I have dug away at the numbers and here are some comparisons to take into account;

Ford, Lincoln, Troller, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen, MAN, Scania, Ducati, Alfa Romeo, Dodge, Lancia, Maserati, Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, DS Automobiles, Opel, Citroen and Vauxhall.

These are the brands of VW Group, PSA, Ford Motor Company and FIAT Chrysler, together they have over 300 factories worldwide, they have a combined turnover of $650 billion, they employ 879,000 people and they sell nearly 25 million cars per year.

Tesla currently have three factories, their revenue is $24 billion, they employ 48,000 people and they sell 350,000 cars per year.

As things stand today Tesla is valued at $130 billion, the other four companies combined are valued at $121 billion. I believe this proves beyond any doubt that Tesla is vastly overvalued, personally I believe its true value is around $15 billion.

If you are one of the people who keeps seeing YouTube videos telling you Tesla is the stock to have and you are considering investing a huge sum of money into it then please think long and hard about it. To me the hype around Tesla is very similar to Bitcoin in late 2017, the price was rising and rising and nobody knew when it would peak, but eventually the market will correct itself.

Where do I start educating myself on business? Also: Can I be a successful entrepreneur long term if I have a mild cognitive disability and an IQ in the 80's?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 05:44 PM PDT

I live in a rural area, have a cognitive disability and an official psychologically tested IQ in the 80's, can't drive due to my cognitive disability, etc. School was an absolute nightmare for me and I can't afford college. I still can learn new things it just takes me a little longer than most people. I really struggle with reading books especially. I learn a lot more from videos. I'm wondering if I could still be a successful entrepreneur long term if i'm willing to work 14 hour days / 7 days a week and learn business. I feel like i'm in a hell I can't escape from but i'm staying very upbeat and positive-proactive about my situation. No excuses! Not even a disability. The market doesn't give a shit. So to sum it all up "How can I self teach myself business and entrepreneurship online?" Do I start with Accounting? Finance? Marketing? Computer Science? Where the heck do I start? Thanks everyone for your time.
