Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Global Trade and Business Posted: 07 Apr 2020 04:59 AM PDT We are considering various scenarios of coronavirus's impact on the world economy. During the meeting of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors on Saturday, Goergieva pointed out that the Chinese authorities are taking all measures to limit the negative impact of Coronavirus on the economy. These measures include increasing liquidity, introducing additional fiscal instruments and financial support. https://article-directory.org/article/721/3/Impact-of-Coronavirus-COVID-19-on-Global-Trade-and-Business [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Apr 2020 03:51 AM PDT I am interested in the peripherals of investing & would like to find some resources on this. I generally don't like articles that are just a handful of paragraphs. I'm more interested in an author that picks up the ball and runs the half marathon, so to speak. Perhaps 5+ page article and up. Here is what I mean by this topic: 1- managing shareholder communications/ quickly catching the drift of 80 page merger and acquisition related PDFs and making a pretty good decision (but not necessarily the best) with small amount of time invested. Perhap even avoiding more likely M&A targets altogether. 2- Reasonably avoiding "life draining" broker fees. For example, reorganization fees. 3- monitoring changing expenses of funds held 4- executing trades quickly and at a reasonably good price 5- quickly getting a grasp on tax treatment/ monitor changes in the tax landscape.(This might not really belong on this list but leaving it for now.) A good example of this is when the tax law changed on roth conversions. 6- automated investing. For example, invest $ x/mo, each month into a different stock. Or, auto-moving the cash in brokerage account to your bank account 7- a comparison of brokers on these fronts. I think that to summarize this topic, could say "everything besides investment selection." [link] [comments]
