Post-Virus Crisis: Thoughts of a Strategy Consultant, Part 1

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 03:06 AM PDT

During the quarantine, the number of customer requests increased, but the diversity of these requests decreased. Everyone asks the same question: "What are we going to do in April? And what do we have to do in May?" Of course, I advise them on what to do in April and May, but I strongly recommend everyone to think about what they will do in July or September. "In September?" they ask, "how do we know what's going to happen in September?" Actually, there's enough already known about September or December to plan. The world will sink into recession, and no country will be an exception. The depth of the recession isn't so important. But experience shows that recession is always better handled by the one who has planned everything in advance. Even if you have to adjust your plan later, it's better to plan now while you have time. Let me remind you that the planning process itself is just as useful as its result. So, my advice is to plan. What other advice would you give to the businesses right now?

How would you price a coronavirus treatment?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:47 PM PDT

Given the cost of coronavirus to economy, pharma companies are racing to find a effective treatment to address this unprecedent business as well as an humanitarian opportunity. It's a matter of time when companies start having breakthroughs in treatments. However, the market for coronavirus treatment may only exist till widespread vaccinations program are not executed to curb the disease. Given the ethical nature as well as the brief duration of economic opportunity for pharma companies, how would a pharma company price an effective COVID -19 treatment optimally?

Something like a catalog where clients see multiple pictures in the catalog and just click - or + if they want to order the product. At the end just click save or send and the order is done.

What is the job title of someone who determines if a business proposal is feasible to implement and profitable in the long run?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:14 AM PDT

This person sounds like a Business Analyst of some kind but I'm not sure if that's accurate. I'm curious if there's a person who analyzes the proposal, determine if profit can be gained from implementing the proposal, and high level requirements detailing how it can be done.

Is there any job or position title like that?

[TIKTOK] Where can I find brand post sponsorships? And how much should I charge for a brand sponsored post?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 12:32 PM PDT

I have 158,840 followers on TikTok as of April 5, 2020

Started using TikTok 4 months ago, on December 15, 2019. I already accumulated 3.9 million likes in total, and gaining at least 1500 to 2500 followers everyday for the past 7 days. My engagement rate is 50.09% which is way above the average engagement rate of 7.23% for TikTok accounts that fall under the 100k to 500k followers range.

*Note: My engagement rate and the average engagement rate was according to Influencer Marketing Hub

I have 5 videos with almost 2 million views, 1 video with more than 7 million views, and 1 video with more than 10 million views.

My audience is 56% women and 44% men. It largely comprises of people from the US and the Philippines. Other countries include Canada, Vietnam and Malaysia. US has the 3rd most users of TikTok, while the Philippines has one of the largest percentage of social media users.

I mainly post funny videos, and other random stuff. I also don't show my face on the videos. So what I'm thinking is that when brands approach me for a sponsored post, the video can already be made by them, and I'll just post it on my channel.

If you wanna work with me or have any suggestions, please comment on this one.

Thanks and have a great day to you all!
