Would you recommend buying into a franchise if you don't have a business degree or should someone have some sort of degree in business before even considering buying into a franchise?

Where to find out how much companies invest in developing human capital?

    Posted: 10 Jan 2020 12:20 AM PST

Have been assigned to research the amount large businesses in India spend on developing human capital through talent assessment programmes, digital learning etc.

Of course all companies will say they do this, but to find the hard numbers themselves, are annual reports the only way to go?

    Thanks :)

    LLC ownership percentage

    Posted: 09 Jan 2020 04:48 PM PST

    Hi all,

I'm currently in the processing of forming a business with a partner that will be an LLC. I have a question and it comes to the ownership and investments aspect.

My partner recently paid $200 for fixtures that are apparently worth. He started that when the LLC is formed, the value of the purchase is what gets factored in on the ownership percentage, not how much is invested. That essentially means that he paid $200 for his worth to increased $2k.

I want to confirm if it is based on soley the amount we put in, or the worth of what we obtain. I want to make sure neither of us get screwed on the long run.

    I appreciate any help 😊

    Put MBA After Your Name

    Posted: 09 Jan 2020 04:57 PM PST

Hey MBAs! Read a bunch of articles by people trashing putting MBA after your name. Most by people who admittedly didn't have the degree. If you Actually Have an MBA, you know it was hard work.

So forget what others say. If you want to put those letters, do It!
