Looking to buy a few blue chip companies experiencing a dip Posted: 01 May 2019 11:14 AM PDT I'm looking for a few good blue chip stocks in a lull, to buy into for long term investing, a la "The Intelligent Investor" strategy. I am also trying to buy companies that I like, or at least am familiar with. Currently looking at Lyft, AT&T, Tesla, Kraft, Intel, CVS, and Target. Any opinions on these, or other good blue chip, long term buys is much appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Anyone know any good websites to see historical ranges? Posted: 01 May 2019 12:47 PM PDT I'm looking for a website that lets me see historical ranges of stocks. I want to see the impact of the Deficit Reduction act on Church and Dwight ($CHD), So I want to see a graph of the ranges ~August, 2005 to August, 2006. Is there any good websites I can pick my range like I did above? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 12:42 PM PDT When I want to sell a put option, do I need a recipient to buy that put option or can i sell it back to the market? Reason I ask is because i have a put option that is currently at the price i want to sell at but the brokerage has yet to execute that transaction? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 07:42 AM PDT What are your thoughts? Overhyped? Good for a long-run move? I just bought in at $7.99 and expect to hold for a bit. [link] [comments] |
AMD: is there a sell-off going on? Posted: 01 May 2019 08:06 AM PDT Not a volatility expert. Could someone explain what's going on with AMD right now? the chart looks like a sell-off despite a 5/6% pre-market surge following their earnings. [link] [comments] |
RGSE Should I Purchase this Stock at 0.08/share? Posted: 01 May 2019 07:47 AM PDT I have been following Real Goods Solar Energy and feel that they provide a very good product. However, I don't understand why the stock keeps falling. I would like some advice on purchasing this at this low price. Does anyone think this is a good opportunity for long term? I am also considering on biding on 10,000 shares at .04, just to be on the safe side. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 11:12 AM PDT The company is targeting a 13% share of the $270 billion US meat sector based on the share that plant based dairy products have won of dairy milk market. "We believe that by applying the same strategy to the plant-based meat category, it can grow to be at least the same proportion of the approximately $270 billion meat category in the United States, which over time would represent a category size of $35 billion in the United States alone" https://sec.report/Document/1655210/000162828018014471/beyondmeats-1.htm This is not a recommendation to buy or sell. Stocks are not suitable investments for everyone. Please do your own research. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 May 2019 01:47 PM PDT Any thoughts on these two options for REITS? Looking to have about $1250 split evenly, maybe heavier toward MGP, between the two to back up money I have in SPHD/VOO. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 09:56 AM PDT Think it's a dip now to raise later? Low analyst ratings on this one all around but everything to me looks like it could rise. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 08:55 AM PDT I'm looking to diversify my portfolio when the time is right. LMT has picked up a lot of business recently. Dividend is looking good. Just looking for opinions on this one [link] [comments] |
Should you look at the average beta of your portfolio - diversification? Posted: 01 May 2019 11:54 AM PDT Is this worthwhile to monitor? obviously its easy to brand stock x and y as 'tech' and therefore for a diverse portfolio want other industries, but is it worth thinking about having a diverse range of betas in a portfolio? [link] [comments] |
Anybody Know the Story Behind Dycom's Pain? Posted: 01 May 2019 10:52 AM PDT Dycom Industries (DY) has fallen well below 50% of its position from a year ago. It was on my radar for a while, but it fell off. Anyone following its story and can explain its rapid collapse? [link] [comments] |
Any thoughts on AQMS for long term hold Posted: 01 May 2019 10:47 AM PDT Hi guys! as the tittle says, what are your thoughts for AQMS for the long term- it looks like the CEO just purchased a lot of stocks recently, would you consider this a good sign? [link] [comments] |
Would you stop from investing in DPZ (Domino Pizza) because of its high debt? Posted: 01 May 2019 10:18 AM PDT DPZ has a very impressive stock price run for past few years - +300% for past 5 years Its has impressive annualized revenue growth (22%) for past 5 years - https://i.imgur.com/jZvFwpL.png Its has impressive annualized net income growth (17%) for past 5 years - https://i.imgur.com/IRgQuno.png But, its negative ROE (debt more than asset) is scary to me - https://i.imgur.com/lCS8LJP.png Although it is still a cash positive company, its net cash flow can be negative sometimes - http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=135383&p=irol-fundCashFlowA I was wondering, if a company is having more debt than asset, is that a red alert? If not, what other aspect I should look into, to consider whether DPZ is a "relatively safe to invest" high growth company? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 09:33 AM PDT interested to see who else things VR is going to boom fairly soon and which companies will do it. no doubt gaming is a huge industry, and VR will not only encompass gaming, I think it'll be a big step in tech, curious what you guys think and what companies to watch? Posted: 01 May 2019 09:32 AM PDT I was in TTWO and ATVI a year back and got out just in time for the slump. But I'm wondering why these two stocks are still suppressed. Has anyone looked into them recently? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 08:24 AM PDT With Linde (German) recently acquiring Prax Air I've decided now is the time to look at purchasing stock in this company. Air Liquide (French company that owns Airgas) would be a close 2nd in the gas industry. What do you guys think between the 2? [link] [comments] |
Email alerts in Yahoo Finance? Posted: 01 May 2019 08:02 AM PDT Does any one know if it is possible for email alerts to be sent for specific stocks once it hits $x within Yahoo Finance? If no, does any one know of a free service that allows this? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 07:22 AM PDT I'm a small cap investor. I have seven stocks and want to find a single program or utility to tell me the values of each instead of me going to each stock individually. They are on several exchanges in US and UK. Ideally, if I could put in the purchase price, it would tell me how they are doing. No need for real time updates. Delayed values are fine as I buy long term primarily. Anything out there?
