Reading Around the Subject of Investing

    Posted: 17 Apr 2019 11:22 AM PDT

I'm currently in my 20s and want to pursue a career as an investor. I recently started working at a bank, but want to move to the buy-side when I get to opportunity. I've already read most of the commonly cited value investing books. However, I'm beginning to notice a lot of the same topics being discussed in all of the books, and feel like strictly reading more "value investing" books may be counterproductive in becoming a better investor. Recently, I read somewhere online that it's more beneficial to read around the subject. What are some subjects/topics related to investing that would help me become a better investor? What are some of the best books to read to learn about said subjects/topics? What are some non-investing books that you would recommend to someone early on in their investing careers? Any topics you wish you'd understood earlier on that you discovered later in the game?
