    Stocks that compliment each other?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 09:22 AM PDT

The below might be the ramblings of a madman because im new to investing but these are just trends I've seen over the past 6 months.

In my experience, EVBG and TWLO USUALLY have very similar charts. When one is up, so is the other at roughly the same rate, etc. PEGA seems to be a bit of an indicator for both - when it reaches 52 wk highs (as it has almost every day this week) then slowly over the next few weeks EVBG and TWLO hit theirs as well.

Obviously since they're very different tech companies this won't be a good rule of thumb long term, but it's been interesting to notice these so far.

Does anyone (hopefully with more of a background who actually knows what they're doing) see similar trends in similar companies that compliment or precede other stocks?

How did you guys make it to 25k?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 07:31 PM PDT

Did you guys save all your money, or did you build from 5k - 25k I am a college student but i know how to trade. unfourtantly, i dont have 25k and have pdt restrictions, i know for a fact with how much i know, the people i trade with if i had 25k id be a successful trader because of no PDT, the only time i have lost money is being scared of losing my 1/3 trades BUT i knew i should of sold but i was hard headed and didn't want to lose the chance. My question is more geared to how do you guys manage to successfully get 25k? Did you save your whole life, inheritance, or did you build up to it.

Almost at 52 week low, looks like a good buy right now. Curious as to what others feel about this stock? Potentially a long term hold IMO.

Recently got into this whole thing. Wanted an opinion on a stock.

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 03:09 PM PDT

Camber energy - where is it going, what's the game plan (no reverse split stock mentioned), and what happened? Why is it projected at -10,000? Was dumping a very small amount of money into it a bad idea? I'm trying to test the waters before I decide if this stock thing is what's right for me.

HOLLYWOOD and SALT LAKE CITY, April 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VERB Technology Company, Inc.(NASDAQ: VERB) ("VERB"), a leader in business-focused interactive video sales and marketing applications and the pioneer of Augmented Sales Intelligence software, announces that it has added direct selling market leader Stream Energy ("Stream") to its client roster. A provider of energy, wireless, and protective home services in seven states and Washington DC, Stream has grown into one of the largest direct selling companies in the global energy market.

Stream represents one of the first clients to adopt the newly combined digital platform launched immediately following the successful closing of Verb's recent acquisition of Utah-based Sound Concepts, the leading provider of sales tools for the direct selling industry. A next-generation digital platform that combines the best of Sound Concepts' Brightools technology and Verb's interactive video technology, this new platform has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the direct selling industry.

Stream unveiled its launch of Stream Share, its custom designed version of Verb's new digital platform, at the Ignition 2019 event on April 11-13, 2019. Stream Share incorporates Verb's industry leading interactive video functionality which will enable thousands of Stream's independent sales associates to create their own custom video content with clickable 'taggs' embedded directly into the video allowing customers and prospects to respond to Stream reps in real-time, right through the video, increasing engagement and conversion rates far beyond other products available in the market today. Stream's independent sales associates will utilize the new digital platform to easily share video-based product and company information with current and prospective clients and track their engagement resulting in a more efficient and effective sales process and shorter sales cycle.

"The highlight of the event was the launch of the Stream Share app which provides our Independent Associates with powerful and entirely unique tools to build their business with greater efficiency and enjoy success in ways never before seen," commented George Pinon, Stream's Vice President of Information Technology. "Particularly exciting was the release of the system's interactive video functionality. This feature allows our Independent Associates to create their own custom video content while embedding custom links to their personal website right in the video. This is a highly professional and developed product that will continue to distinguish Stream as a forward-thinking leader within the direct sales industry."

"We're particularly proud that Stream chose our new digital platform to empower its Independent Associates with the most effective sales tool in the industry," stated McKinley Oswald, President of Verb's Direct Sales Division. Were people really expecting less than 22% operating margins for Facebook?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 02:51 AM PDT

Facebook just reported operating margins of 22% (with a revenue beat of 0.71%) and is up 8% in pre-market. Obviously it beat expectations. I know FB margins were expected to fall but were people really expecting sub-20% operating margins? Did FB make a public statement a couple of months ago saying that they were expecting margins to be that low or something?

EDIT: Just found out that this is due to a one-time charge $3 billion
