Posted: 22 Dec 2018 11:36 AM PST Could be a silly question, but just trying to get a grasp on the fundamentals. I have a truck, a power washer, and a bank account. If I form an LLC, how do I "associate" or link up the LLC to those assets so they become property of the LLC to afford me all the benefits. Is it as simple as just putting the assets into the name of the LLC? For example, doing a transfer of ownership of the truck from my personal name to the LLC on the title of the vehicle? That's what I'm presuming but it could more complicated or less and I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something or it's even less involved than that. I know the process for switching bank accounts because banks usually facilitate the whole thing (from a sole prop to LLC, for example). Not sure about these other assets that I want my LLC to 'own' (so to speak). Sorry if this seems ignorant. I'm worried I'll go through the process and cost of forming the LLC and then not operate it properly with respect to this aspect and just waste my effort. Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |
Advice for new entrepreneur, which crowdfunding platform best fit my case? Posted: 23 Dec 2018 02:01 AM PST Okay, here it goes. I'm (23F) work full time and the little free time I have I sell all kind of stuff because I'm the only financial support of my family (mother, father, lil brother and my grandmother who's health is delicate) I'm also in college (online since I can't attend classes due to the need of working), but I really want to grow, professionally and I am barely making enough money just to cover extremely basic needs. I decided that start to learn coding, SEO, digital marketing, web developer, app design etc will be the perfect match for me. I browse the web and found many free resources but since I'm Mexican and coding is totally new for me, it's harder to do it in English and frustrates me, I found only one platform name pLATZI that have 190 certified courses on the topic and is extremely good with amazing reviews (also they help you to get job and clients to start) but I don't have the money to pay for the whole year access and certifications (300 dollars), also I would need to make my own website to promote me, and give a more professional experience to my clients. I don't know if I should go to Go fund me or Kickstarter I'm afraid to not be able to get the money, and in kickstarter, for example, I read that if you don't get the goal, you don't get the money, while in Go Fund Me I'm afraid nobody would take care of my campaign, what do you suggest? How detailed and planned is your early stage UI and UX design? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 05:51 AM PST Currently about starting the UI and UX design of my SaaS product but I am unsure about how detailed to get and how much effort to put into my design documentation etc before I start coding. I am having trouble rationalizing being super meticulous about my design specs because I am essentially the only designer and frontend developer (in my current team of 2). I feel like sometimes my time would be better spent just setting up basic code and functionality behind my interface. How do you find a balance here? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Dec 2018 04:59 AM PST I'm working on a men's clothing subscription service and was wondering what the best way to test a concept is. I'm torn between whether we have fashion designers select the clothing for the customer or if we should let customers themselves pick. There are advantages and disadvantages to both but without testing it out I'm not sure which way to go. Designer picks A) it's faster B) uniform selections (you know it'll look good) C) surprise or novelty of getting something every month User picks A) you know what you're getting so you know you'll like it Anyone know how I could do this without having to actually roll out each idea and see which one gets more customers?
