    I made a how-to intro app for wannabe/noob investors

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a little something I've completed recently: InvestEd. It's a pretty simple educational app (only on Android) meant to introduce you to the basics of stock investing!

I always thought financial education was extremely important, especially because it's rarely taught sufficiently in schools. Even worse, investing is such a novel concept to millions among us, they simply dismiss the idea of ever participating in building wealth.

I view my app as a very small resource for eager wannabe investors, valuable information compiled into small & basic lessons for those interested. In regard to my background, I am a finance major at a top university here in the states, so rest assured I'm not incompetent 😉.

So let me touch on a few things you can expect from InvestEd. The app currently offers three modules broken into novice, intermediate, and expert. Within each, 8 lessons are offered on various topics. I intentionally made the lessons short, the longest only hits about 350 words. Most lessons feature illustrations. All lessons feature a 3 question quiz to reinforce important topics. In addition to the lessons, I also included a topic referred to as "philosophy." It's purpose is to dive a bit into the investing strategies of the most successful investors (e.g. Buffet, Dalio, etc.).

For those interested in the development aspect let me address that here. First off, this is my third app, so basically taking my expertise (or lack thereof!) and consolidating it into a project I can be proud to share. I am obsessed with UI and UX. I was extremely focused on creating menus and pages that were not only functional, but elegant. Every single design element from the dashboard background, to the title, to the lesson illustrations was done by myself (which hopefully you think are as nice as I do). I am especially happy with all the fade transitions!

Hopefully I've piqued your interest. Check out InvestEd when you have the chance and let me know what you think! Would absolutely love the feedback. Cheers.
