Business owners: How would you feel if you got a letter saying "You are being ripped off!"?

If I wrote a letter of advertisement trying to gain clients listing the problems in my field and explaining how I am different would that catch you eye?

Would you continue reading or would you think I was being underhanded and only trying to gain business by running down others. Running down others isnt my intent but I know of companies who are billing days when their contractors are sitting at home!

Small food business interest, questions and concerns

    Posted: 20 Nov 2018 01:58 PM PST

    Hi,

I've been thinking over creating a food business and I do not know where to begin. I've been thinking over creating a business plan and don't know if I should be creating an extensive plan or just a quick and basic one?

I know what products I'd sell. I know the ideal locations I'd like to have. I DO NOT know how to develop the pricing of the product. I see this item as a potential recession protected item due to it's lower cost potential (similar to fast food during recessions). The items need to move in quantity!

I don't know if I should look into food trucks or actual store locations?

My overall main concern and question is about business plan, funding, and creating pricing. I know there is tons of information online through research, but I'd like to truly hear from the community and from those that have done it or are doing it.

    Thank you!
