How can I teach myself stocks/investing at age 21? Posted: 06 Oct 2018 04:11 PM PDT Hi everyone, I am a pre-accounting student who wants to build a strong knowledge about company stocks, financial statements, etc. I am not in it to make extreme large profits. I have a strong interest in it and want to learn more about it. Maybe later on I will do it for profits and trading later on, but that's not my short term goal. Any introductory books I can begin with? I am always told about index funds or things that are guaranteed investment returns, but I'm not familiar with anything and it seems very interesting to me. Thank you all, have a blessed day! [link] [comments] |
SunEdison (SUNE) Stock still shows up Posted: 07 Oct 2018 01:26 PM PDT So I bought quicken and was trying to make sure all the numbers were good. I had around $13 bucks that was off. Took me a while to figure out that somehow I still have SUNE stock and its value is around $13 for all the shares I have. How can I look to see if I can sell this? Or will they eventually go away? Or am I stuck with it forever? What kind of options do I have? This is in my Roth IRA if that matters at all. [link] [comments] |
Where can I demo trade futures? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 12:48 PM PDT I'm interested in trading Futures and I've been trying to look for a platform where I can demo trade futures, ideally through a broker I can then use once I'm comfortable. I'm based in the UK though and options seem limited. Specifically I would like to demo trade the S&P 500 e-mini. Anyone got any suggestions? [link] [comments] |

I'm new so this is dd so far ya I know it's barely anything but as economy goes down commodity goes up. Economy going up, commodity going down. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Oct 2018 12:03 PM PDT Hi , just looking at the Ebay chart and it looks ugly. What is going on with the company and does anyone think at these levels the company has value , or is it a "catching a falling knife " , thanks for all input. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Oct 2018 01:14 AM PDT Hi, if they yeild 9% annualy returns, then why don't people choose these things instead of SP500? [link] [comments] |
What happens to my stock when it changes exchanges? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 08:46 AM PDT Hey all! I currently hold a good chunk of Aurora Cannabis stocks which is currently listed OTC. Looks like they've chosen to list on the NYSE. Do my shares just follow/convert to the NYSE, or is it an entirely different stock? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 07 Oct 2018 02:00 AM PDT Anyone know how I can find an ETF or index fund to buy stock tracking the Vietnam Hanoi stock exchange equity index? I'm really interested in the Vietnamese stock market. Thanks [link] [comments] |
What do you guys think about iRobot? Posted: 06 Oct 2018 02:31 PM PDT It seems like a small company that could be acquired in the near future by a company like Amazon, and it can also grow very quickly. But it's also near its 52 week high and the stock is very volatile. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Oct 2018 02:51 PM PDT I've got 10/26 150 calls. Think I'll see a green day next week? I'm down $384. think I'll make a rebound by 10/26? [link] [comments] |
