How to get personal or business loan from US for a biz outside US Posted: 06 Sep 2018 01:38 AM PDT 8 year old Digital Marketing Agency in a South Asian Country. Profitable from year 1. Business is on auto pilot mode for past 3 years and generates more than $100k in profit every year. I am looking to raise money/get loan to further expand my business. Seeking between $150k to $500k (depending on interest rate). I am not willing to give equity in my company. I am seeking a loan at a fixed % rate that I will re-pay in 1 shot with principal amount at the end of the term(1 or 2 year max) Is this type of loan arrangement common in US? Where can I find such lenders? What will lenders charge as interest rate in your opinion? Ofcourse I will share my business details, personal data, references and allow background checks when I find the right lender. I have done this in the past with lenders giving me loan of upto $50k multiple times but I want to go little bigger this time. Thanks, BB [link] [comments] |

Agribusiness, meritocracy and social ascension Posted: 05 Sep 2018 02:43 PM PDT A near total layman in economics, politics and business speaking here. Im my opinion, the "best" economical sectors and companies are those that favour agressive individual meritocracy and offer real chances for good employees to ascend socially, and, maybe, create their own businesses in the future. Tech companies being the foremost example of that. In my country, Brazil, agribusiness is considered the jewel of the economy's crown. 9 in 10 politicians, economists and executives praise its potential and profitability. But I have some concerns about it. Mainly concerning its potential to concentrate wealth, its lack of meritocracy and opportunities for the ascension of a middle class and socially ascending executives. I hear that nowdays, most top tier agriculture is almost 100% mechanized. Comoddity exports such as soy also favor only very large properties. Condidering all that, are my impressions right? Hiring people with side hustles? Posted: 05 Sep 2018 08:35 PM PDT Does anyone have any experience hiring people with side hustles? I have some candidates that I've interviewed that have side hustles. A couple of the candidates with the side hustles sound promising but I'm also a little worried they may jump ship at some point as their side hustle becomes more successful. What would you ask someone to help alleviate those concerns? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Sep 2018 08:21 PM PDT Considering opening a bar/club within the next few years, any advice or tips from people who may or may not have experience in the industry? I'm also interested in profit margins, common overhead expenses, and any other areas of knowledge that may come in handy. Thanks ahead of time! [link] [comments] |

How useful is a Management Diploma? Posted: 05 Sep 2018 07:08 PM PDT I am one year away from getting my Management Diploma in Canada, and I am having doubts. I don't enjoy the program so far, but I figure I might as well get the diploma since I'm so close, even if I don't go for the full degree. How useful is a Management Diploma? Have I been wasting my time? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Sep 2018 06:02 PM PDT Looking for ideas on how to crack down on people wanting to do late pickups. I already charge 5.00 each hour after 6 I am thinking I'll charge 15.00 per hour or just say if you are not here by 6 doors are shut and you pay a 35.00 fee ( overnight fee) and you can pick you dig up the next day [link] [comments] |
