With the Earnings coming following week, what do you guys prefer to do?

    a) do your homework and buy before the earning report

    b) look for the dips after the earnings, buy whats on sale.

    VALUE/GROWTH INVESTING

When do you sell your stocks?

Do you actually calculate intrinsic value of stock and sell it once market price comes to that? If yes, can you please give pointers on how to get started with it?

Do you sell once you make 10-20% profit?

How do you find undervalued stocks?

    Novo Nordisk

    Posted: 08 Jul 2018 05:35 AM PDT

So I own Novo nordisk since ~3 years and am pretty much at 0 gains including the dividends...

Thinking about selling selling and buying something else, or holding, not sure if I'm just getting stuck on the decision I made and not wanting to leave without profit..

Just want to here some opinions about the stock and the general situation I'm in with having bought 'unsuccessfully'

    Thanks in advance.

    CIBR call option

    Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:47 PM PDT

I found the options for CIBR to be really cheap. Is that because it is an ETF? I bought a few call options that expire in 2019. I like cyber security industry and the price. But can't help I am missing something. Should I be buying more, or is buying etf options not a great idea?

Playing Suckers With Advertising -- Is It Legal

    Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:54 PM PDT

I'm wondering if this scenario is legal:

    1) Design advertisements for a stock which appeal to emotionally driven investors.

    2) Make a leveraged buy, creating an initial price swing.

    3) Run the advertisements.

    4) Sell the leveraged shares, taking a profit from the suckers.
