Thinking About investing in CRON. Weed and Money, Fail or Flop? Posted: 03 Jul 2018 08:01 AM PDT CRON price is pretty fair right now and lots of opportunity for growth should the US decide on federal Legalization of Marijuana. My gut says the Republican party will make a play at legalization for votes in the 2020 election which could skyrocket growth of the industry regardless of whether it passes. What are your thoughts Short, Medium, and Long Term. CRON has stated that a plan is in place should the US carry forward with a Federal Legalization agreement. However I'm predicting a surge in growth of companies like this not long after should that occur. This could make investments like CRON volatile in the Long Term. My thought is; at least for now with their proven success and the fact that the market is not over saturated it could be a very solid investment for some small investment gains between 500-1000$ in the short term. Lets discuss. [link] [comments] |

"Technical" Analysis - any evidence to support it? Posted: 03 Jul 2018 06:55 AM PDT So I'm one of the guys who makes fun of people who go nuts over inverted triangles, cups with handles, and head/shoulders. But I want to have a more informed dissent. I've searched quite a bit but fail to find any evidence supporting the use of these pattern-style analyses for buying and selling decisions. Everyone in support of it provides some anecdotal evidence, and we all know that a small sample size proves nothing. The question is: does any peer-reviewed, randomized objective evaluation exist that evaluates the "technical" chartologists? [link] [comments] |
Buy, Hold, or Sell on a 10% loss Posted: 03 Jul 2018 11:13 AM PDT I'm relatively new to investing and have been asking myself this question... When should I sell a loss, if at all, if I believe in the company? I currently have a position in Trevena (TRVN) at $1.73 per share for 1,810 shares. TRVN slipped the last couple of weeks from $1.80 per share to $1.44 per share, and has since come up to $1.54 per share. TRVN is a pharmaceutical company currently in the process of having one of their drugs reviewed by the FDA (November 2nd due date for FDA). I believe the stock is undervalued and should have a valuation between $2.50 and $6.50. What would you do? Have you ever experienced such large unrealized losses that you decided to sell? Why did you sell? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
