What service should i use for managing multiple clients email? Posted: 05 Jun 2018 02:46 AM PDT Alright, so we're a small agency who makes website for other business. We'd like to offer a better service for professional email to our clients, because we've been using the default hosting provider email service (warning the page is in italian) and lately we've had some clients complain about the limited storage and the impossibility to send many emails/hour; some client has to send more than 300 invoices mails/hour at the end of the month and has contacted us multiple times; other times the mail certificate has to be trusted again after being configured on the mail client, so we really want to move to another service, keeping all the hosting and domain stuff where it is now. We tried contacting the hosting provider for a better email service, but they simply tried to push us towards a vps. So we've tried to look at different services, particularly: GSuite And others one which i can't remember Our main feature request are:
We tried using Gsuite but had a hard time having a single account managing multiple clients; as you know you have to create a different account for each client and it's a mess to keep track of them all (we have to manage ~30/40 clients with 2/3 mails each). Our main choice right now would be Zoho, but any suggestion is appreciated, and any pros or cons for each service is appreciated. Just to clarify, i'd like the service structure to be like this: Service Where GSuite service is more like this: GSuite P.S. Sorry for the long post. [link] [comments]
College interns for web development Posted: 05 Jun 2018 02:10 AM PDT Has anyone ever used college interns for IT or web/app development for their business? If so, what was your experience? We're starting a small business on a budget. [link] [comments]
Need Advice: Payments while setting up LLC Posted: 04 Jun 2018 02:33 PM PDT I'm in need of some advice regarding where I should be depositing money while setting up my LLC. I've recently fully transitioned into freelancing and received my first payment via check. I have an appointment with a CPA to get advice on setting up the LLC, but that's not for another 10 days. After that I would presumably set up my business checking account. My question is: Should I go ahead and deposit the check into my personal account and then just transfer it out to the business account once I have it set up in two weeks? Sorry if this is a silly question and I'm overthinking it. Just trying to keep everything as separate as possible. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jun 2018 04:21 PM PDT Our guy charges up to $10-15k for campaigns. We're happy with the results, but still curious to know what the going rate is for something like this. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Needing advice, have no business experience Posted: 04 Jun 2018 01:38 PM PDT Hi everyone! I hope I'm posting in the right sub. I don't really know much of anything, I never went to business school, but ive always had this dream of opening a bookstore/antique shop. I have no idea where to even begin! My idea was to have it connected to a local animal charity that I already work with (something like 10% of proceeds go towards the charity?). This is just a pipe dream at the moment, but I was hoping for advice on how to get started on making it a reality! Or someone to tell me I'm an idiot and to look for another avenue in life. Any advice is well appreciated! As I said, I don't know much of anything other than what I want to do with the business. Apologies if this is in the wrong sub! TIA! [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jun 2018 04:16 PM PDT A co-worker and I are planning on opening a driving school in our city. We are trying to decide on a name for the business. I long ago thought of "City's Finest Driving School" (replace city's with the name of our city). I believe we have a problem as there is already a driving school with goes by the name "City Driving School" (again, replace city). The reason I am stuck on the name is because it has a nice double meaning. The school will be taught only by police. Not a new idea by any means but not yet present in our state. Is there enough of a difference to avoid any issues with the names being similar? What is your opinion on the name or any possibilities? [link] [comments]
How to Meet a Shitty Seller on Alibaba Posted: 05 Jun 2018 04:36 AM PDT Every POSSIBLE mistake that you can make.. i made.. Lesson #1: Never volunteer to be a buying agent, no matter how your friend begs you. Dealing with Chinese factories is the most soul destroying thing you can do... how do they think lying to customer is actually a good business tactic? TL;DR 1) It's really hard to figure out who's middleman, even with Alibaba's filtering 2) Chinese factories will lie to cover up more lies.. even risk going to jail 3) Alibaba will NOT stand up for you, even with "Trade Assurance" (it's not in the post but I tried to dispute and their crappy website breaks). 4) NEVER EVER buy from Alibaba (if ordering large quantities). Just bite the bullet and make a trip there. BTW.. i rarely ask this, but if you found it useful, please upvote this. So many import scams go un-noticed in international trade. And please click on that "clap" icon on medium to get some more exposure. (The longer you click & hold, the more "upvotes" it gets). I think they used every dirty trick that middleman factories use.. let everyone benefit from my experience. [link] [comments]
Structuring a Business w/ Partner Posted: 05 Jun 2018 04:28 AM PDT I'm about to start an online business with a partner. All contributed capital will be 50/50. The workload will be him doing most of the day to day operations. All I will be doing is bi-weekly financial reports and making higher level decisions. How should we structure the business? He suggests all profits taken out of the business be split 75/25. Is this a good structure or should I counter with a better deal? [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:57 AM PDT I am having trouble understanding what they are talking about in this book when it comes to creating a game. I run a service based business, first aid for sports and special events, and am trying to develop a system and processes for everything, but once people are out in the field I don't know how to motivate them. Is creating a game supposed to provide incentives? Or just getting people to understand the idea? Are there any examples on how to set up the "game" I could build from? [link] [comments]
Insuring a Small Dog-Walking Business Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:16 AM PDT My fiancee has been using various dog walking & sitting apps (Wag & Rover) to earn some extra dough on the side. She has increasingly started walking and sitting dogs for some of our neighbors outside of the app. As she continues to work more outside of the apps (and the insurance/support they provide) I'm getting increasingly concerned about her & our liability. Does anyone who has experience with a small & independent side business have any recommendations? Should we set up an LLC to shield us from liability in the event anything happens while she's working, or are there other ways of accomplishing the same thing? [link] [comments]
How do you choose a SEO Expert? Posted: 05 Jun 2018 12:35 AM PDT As my business is growing more profitable I'm looking to invest in proper SEO. I've done basic stuff on my own, but I'm sure it can be much more optimized. Does anyone have suggestions on selecting a reputable company? Want to be completely white hat with this. Don't want to risk being penalized by Google in the long run. [link] [comments]

What is a problem you would pay someone to solve (and how much)? Posted: 04 Jun 2018 02:39 PM PDT I'm kicking around a new idea - a business bounty project. To find experts in niche areas to help solve specific problems that a poster is unable of solving. To stress test the idea, I'm coming up with potential areas to use as a beachhead. Is there a problem that you would pay an expert to solve right now? If so, what is it and how much would you pay as a bounty? [link] [comments]

Autistic Boss causing bad reviews...advice plz Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:36 PM PDT I work for a event company that deals with some of Silicon Valleys biggest companies & a huge percentage of our business comes from an online directory that allows users to review companies. Well most of our bad reviews all focus on our Boss/the owner & his lack of customer service. Actually he has been in this business for 35 yrs so what he actually lacks is empathy. When a customer is not satisfied his reaction does not make the situation better & ends up in a bad review. Well our Boss is Autistic. He does lack empathy. He tries to say what he believes the customers think should be said but it sounds like BS. I cant exactly go behind him & secretly call these unsatisfied customers back & try to explain because Id risk losing my job. I try to coach him on how to handle things but he is set in his ways, 80 yrs old & doesnt see anything wrong with how he handles things. What should I do? [link] [comments]
Salesperson or Marketing Firm? Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:36 PM PDT I own an an IT service-based company and have stayed successful in business for over a decade using nothing but word of mouth, but I want to be more successful than I currently am. I also have several Software as a Service products that have gone NOWHERE because I'm just CRAP at marketing. I truly feel if I just had someone focus their energy on getting my service and/or products out there and known, success would be SO simple. Can someone help me rationalize hiring someone for a position vs hiring a marketing company? [link] [comments]
Need your opinion on new offer Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:35 PM PDT Hey Everyone I am an Email Marketer that creates custom sales email marketing sequences for businesses that don't have the in house expertise. Currently, I have 10 emails delivered in 8 days package for businesses looking to get higher conversions/sales from their email list. I think this would be a good fit for a business that knows they need to use email marketing but currently don'y have the in house experts to help pull it off. This package would be 1 flat rate. Do you think this would be a good offer? [link] [comments]
What's one tool you wished you had when you launched your small business? Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:31 PM PDT I see companies in various stages of development, and all of them seem to answer this question with "money." Beyond financial resources, what is one tool/guide/piece of information you wish you had as you were launching? What about within your first year of business? I'd love it if you included your business type and industry in the response so I can see how it varies between company types! [link] [comments]

Small Town Team Looking for Input on new Website called RiotHouse! Posted: 04 Jun 2018 08:04 AM PDT Hi everyone, I am currently a student at UVA who is helping out a small business in my hometown in Virginia called Outsider Labs. We are a small team of 4 who work right on the main street of our little town. We just recently put out a website called RiotHouse that we are hoping will become the place where organized discussion between experts/journalists and users will become normal. Check out the site, create an account and become one of our first users. Some day you could tell your friends or family that YOU were one of the first people to use RiotHouse! [link] [comments] |
