Is there a term for how curved the yield curve is away from, say, a linear line? Posted: 28 Jun 2018 09:14 AM PDT I am trying to run some analysis on trends in thr yield curve and require a measure to determine how curved away from what might be considered "normal." Is there any quantitative way to measure this? [link] [comments]
Closed Ended Fund NAV in Excel Posted: 28 Jun 2018 05:54 AM PDT Anyone know how to calculate the NAV of a closed ended fund in excel? CapIQ does not offer NAV for closed ended funds. Simply (Assets-Liabilities)/total shares does not suffice. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Jun 2018 07:49 AM PDT Hi, I'm relatively new to ESPP, have been playing with my own investments for a couple years pretty successfully but I want to fully understand the process and the pricing involved with ESPP. My company offers a 10% discount which is pulled over the quarter and purchased all at once. I want to better understand some of the terms and what price I got the shares for/expected gains. I assume FMV = Full Market Value Grant date: 3/16/2018 Grant date FMV: $13.53 Purchase Date FMV: $19.00 Est. Cost Basis (per share): $19.00 Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Jun 2018 09:05 AM PDT Hi, im a university student planning on taking the Bloomberg Market Concepts course. According to the video on Bloomberg's website, you can do the course on a pc. My school has a bloomberg lab, but i figured it would be more convenient for me to do it on my own laptop. What are your guys opinions? [link] [comments]
