    Paycom accounts held for clients

Paycom has $1 billion in accounts held for clients. Do they earn interest on this? Just wondering if this would affect their net income?

What's equivalent earning growth rate to certain dividend yield?

    Posted: 01 May 2018 07:52 AM PDT

Let's say there's a stock that offers you solid 5% dividend yield. they will never cut dividend. it will guarantee you 5% yield on opening price. but no substantial earnings growth over inflation. no P/E change.

and there's another stock with no dividend at all. there will be no P/E change in the future. so your return is totally depend on it's earnings growth. now the question is. what's your minimum required earnings growth rate from this stock to make you buy it over the dividend stock?

I know it can't be easily quantified. i just feel dividend yield is more valuable than same amount of earnings growth. because even you can take profit too by selling shares of earnings growth stock. but you lose your shares when you take your profit. but dividend paying stocks will give you 5% yield yearly without any share loss. that's why i prefer dividend yield over earnings growth. but i can't quantify it. how much valuable is dividend yield than earnings growth rate? thanks. and sorry for my broken english if any.

Estimate of company's valuation vs market price over long-time horizon

    Posted: 01 May 2018 06:31 AM PDT

I'm learning a little about valuation at the moment, and am curious. For those of you that have followed companies for many years, and tried setting a valuation for them (from whatever method you choose do so), and then compare that price over time with the market price, how does your valuation tend to compare with the market price? Did the market eventually converge to your value, or near it? It seems like having some long-term data like that would make for some really interesting figures to look at.

Obviously, if your valuation method uses the market price as an input (or if you use the market price heavily in double-checking your assumptions), then your estimate won't be as interesting to look at relative to the market price. But still curious whether you guys do this over the long-term, and what you've found.

How To forcast some items in the CF model?

    Posted: 01 May 2018 09:17 AM PDT

    Certain items such as

Prepaid expenses Tax recievables income tax payable

are hard to forecast in the Cash Flow, How do you guys add it to your model?

And Why is Inventory in Cash Flow of year 1, not exactly equal to inventory of year 0 -year 1 in the Balance sheet ?
