Dumb question but how can you find what business you want to create? Posted: 28 May 2018 07:25 PM PDT I'm only a teenager. I've dreamed of running a successful company/business. I've had the idea of selling School supplies at school since classmates are always asking for pencils, pieces of paper, etc. But I want to think of something that can last in the long term. A company idea that I can figure out the basics of now, so that by the time it's ready I can create my company. I know it's a dumb question but what can I do to figure out the perfect company plan. Posted: 28 May 2018 12:28 PM PDT My main concerns are how much I should scale my business, and in turn how much I spend on inventory, rules of thumb regarding inventory that doesn't sell, setting realistic goals, etc. My current business model is simple (profit at least 20% of costs), but I feel like there are many things I could do to improve my business. I am currently making about the same as minimum wage. With 100-115 items in inventory, and 50-60 sales/month, I think it might be a good idea to invest in more inventory. Would a loan be good/bad idea? [link] [comments] |
