And what he told me completely shocked me. He told me "They will be the biggest brokerage in the US". I told him "what? No, they are just a website" and then he told me why and it completely made sense. Zillow has been collecting priceless data for over a decade. Emails, phone numbers, and analytics that track every user's move. They have in a sense banked so much data that it would be almost impossible for them to not be successful. He also told me that they would take the Redfin approach and reach the masses through discounted commissions. That was when I knew that I really had to differentiate myself.
