I want to start an online art business, but I don't know how. Posted: 09 Jan 2018 01:55 PM PST I've been making themed logos/profile pics for friends that I game with recently and multiple people have told me that they look really, really good. I really enjoy making them and I was thinking it would be awesome to start a little online business making YouTube or Twitch icons for people, but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions? Quick question to the top level managers / owners of modern businesses. Regarding automation. Posted: 09 Jan 2018 04:26 PM PST Do you not feel that as an employer you have a duty to do more than just maximise profit for the business owner and / or shareholders? Do you not believe that you have some sort of duty to society to provide employment and help some of this cash that is collecting in your vaults to 'trickle down'? This question is brought about because I've just seen another post about a fast food chain setting up automated kiosks and removing staff because the minimum wage costs too much. Keep doing this and no one will be able to BUY your products as we won't have any employment. To us (well me, I can't talk for the billions) it looks as if the 1% wants ALL the money and to hell with the rest of the population. Your thoughts? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 07:53 PM PST So, im currently stuck between two internship opportunities. Im currently a freshman in college. Job A is for a headquarters near me, its basically a customer service job that works with the finance and sales team ( which is something i plan on majoring in). Job B if for a huge forbes listed company. The only problem about Job B is that it's 3 hours away from my home. Job B's headquarters does have one of the coolest offices in the world and they would pay for my housing but its not the best city so to say. plus id be living out on my own, no friends or family, working a full time job all summer and thats it Job A on the other hand is local, about 15 mins from my house. no where near as big of company but still a national company. What do you guys think I should do? [link] [comments] |
