- I just received a reply all email from a prospect that I have yet to actually connect with. In the email he tells his colleague that he will politely decline my request to meet. Has this happened to you? What did you do? Do you respond or wait for the email that was intended for you?
[Car Sales] Is Joe Verde legit? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 10:22 AM PST So I was hired at a dealership (lithia, big corporate 168 dealership monster, but none of the family owned ones asked me back, but luckily judging by Google it's the highest traffic dealership in my metro area). Anyway I was looking through car sales threads and kept seeing recommendations for Joe Verde's earn over 100k selling cars book. I read it and it had a lot of broad, hyped up mindset type stuff but honestly the whole book was a long sales letter for his course JVTN (which is probably some ludicrous price, ending in a 7, most likely $X97. Maybe I'm being too critical. Those of you who have bought in, is it legitimate? How much was it? [link] [comments] |

OBJECTION: I don’t want to give out my social security number over the phone. Posted: 02 Dec 2017 11:30 AM PST I sell loans and one thing that I'm always hit with is that people don't want to give out their social security number over the phone. Here's a few variations of what happens...
In this case, I tell them to look up the company and they kind of say "yeah yeah I will." They're nervous and they want out! They've been told all their life not to give out their social security number. I tell them I'll send them an email and they can check my company and license number and they can even respond to the email with their SSN if they like. This almost never works.
I can't give them an accurate estimate without checking their credit. I try to explain this but it hardly ever goes right How do I overcome these 2 social security objections? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Dec 2017 10:49 AM PST Im currently 19 years old and have an associates degree living in NYC. How would one get into sales? Where do I start, what would an average year 1 salary look like? Im into computers and technology to give a good idea in suggestions but I could really go into any field if it means getting a decent pay check. [link] [comments] |
Building a internal sales organization from nothing Posted: 01 Dec 2017 06:49 PM PST I've been working for an IT consulting company. Basically the company provides services and strategy around ERP software. The company has roughly ten employees (a few of them contractors). The outbound sales are being handled by the two founders. Up until a month ago, I've been doing the sales demos along with managing implementations. One of the founders asked me to take on a sales role so he can focus more on marketing and trying to get more inbound leads. He's also interested in hiring one or two people for sales soon. Now my day is filled prospecting, running discovery calls, and demos. The founder has asked me to pull together a formal plan on what a sales team should look like for the business. Including defining the sales process, tools/software needed, content needed, who our ideal prospect is, etc. He asked me to define what would a sales team of three would do daily and what would they need for support. I pretty much have a blank canvas to draw the ideal sales organization on paper. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach defining this type of plan? Or maybe point me to some good resources? [link] [comments] |
