Presenting onboarding materials for 80 FTE business unit

    Posted: 02 Feb 2022 05:41 AM PST

    Greetings,

How does your company offer onboarding information to its new employees?

The business unit I work in is about 80 FTE split over 6 teams. We're currently evaluating options to present our onboarding information in a convenient format. We're looking for some inspiration. We currently consider a slide deck and a Teams-wiki, but haven't yet made up our minds.

Even if your company does it poorly, knowing what you do and why it doesn't work is still useful - so please do share!

    Company buyout

    Posted: 01 Feb 2022 11:55 PM PST

My partner just proposed buying me out over the next 3 years. I don't think he is capable of running the company by himself to generate the capital required to keep buying me out over that same time period. I would absolutely love to take the buyout but those are my reservations.

People who took buyouts, what's your suggestions to make sure the payout happens regardless of company performance?
