| Document scanner hardware or app? can't decide Posted: 01 Jan 2022 06:58 PM PST We will start using document scanner in our office and I plan to have a small table with docu scanner for everyone to use. I have been looking at these document scanning hardware for a good few hours, then i realized, there are apps already for this stuff. While having hardware (the stand and camera and the rollup mat) is quite good, but other than those, is there any real advantage using hardware over App? With an app like swiftscan (i dont mind paying for pro if i was gonna buy a hardware set anyway), i can dedicate a good smart phone on that table for anyone to use (utility device) and probably just DIY a mount for it.
