Need people to join the project Posted: 11 Dec 2021 10:34 PM PST Description of the project: The main idea of this project is to connect elder people in order to battle with the loneliness they suffer. Is a social Project that consist on giving the Elder people the opportunity to find new Friends of their age and with similar hobbies, as in these ages is very difficult to have many Friends and socialize. Giving them also the opportunity to find roommates and share their expenses. This will be possible with the development of this app. This idea arises in these difficult times with the coronavirus crisis which had terrible effects in this part of the population, the elder people. With this crisis we figured out how vulnerable are. This app will help to with these problems that have been existed all the time but maybe until these difficult times we haven´t realized. It will also help to avoid old people ending in a nursing home feeling as if they were a hindrance. To bring about this project we will develop an app and web, which should be very intuitive as people of this ages, usually aren´t used to this kind of things. It will have two sections, one dedicated to find friends and people with similar hobbies to share time with, and a second section which will be focused on searching roommates in order to share expenses and to end with the feeling of loneliness. This part is very important due to at these ages usually is difficult to have that much money and more during crisis time. On this second section, people who have a flat available will be able to publish it in this section to rent it, helping this way the old people to find a place to live. With this, we can solve two problems, one giving this vulnerable people a place to live and to share time with others, and the second one is giving flat owners a space to publish an offer of their flat helping them to rent it. The idea is to firstly release the app in Spain as we know better the society there and the situation, as well as the market and laws there, but in the future to expand it to other countries. -Objectives

How can you market on Reddit to best save your marketing budget to reinvest in your startup? Posted: 11 Dec 2021 06:21 PM PST Hey y'all! So my startup has a bit of a strong niche that I initially discovered using Reddit. However, since most subreddits have policies against solicitation, I have no real way to connect with my niche directly. What do you guys recommend someone do to best maximize their marketing on free applications like Reddit? I'd really like to present my idea to the community as I feel they would really like what I have to offer [link] [comments] |
Advice on where to go from here Posted: 11 Dec 2021 07:01 PM PST Hey guys, Wanted to see if I could get advice on my situation here. Been working on a physical product (fashion accessory) for a little bit now but it's been a bit hard trying to figure out what materials to use, how to get the product itself to the point that I'd feel comfortable selling it (to friends and family let alone strangers). I validated the idea with others, family and friends (had one person tell me they'd potentially invest and another tell me they could have them sold in a friends store) but struggling to figure out how to get it to work/put it together - I could make a minimum viable product and sell it the way I currently have it (with materials I've been using) but it doesn't look all that great and it doesn't entirely work as of yet (I've tried one the ones I currently have and sometimes it works the way I want them to sometimes they don't. I don't have experience with materials/in the fashion industry/etc. so I've been figuring it all out on my own. I've enjoyed working on it and trying to figure it out but I really don't know how to move forward from here. Any advice on how to move forward? Should I be trying to find someone that has more experience with materials/physical products? If you have any additional questions or need clarification feel free to comment and let me know. Thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |
