I need some help regarding options!! Posted: 05 Sep 2021 09:53 AM PDT Hi all, Im confused about whether do I need a large capital to earn a profit after exercising a call option. Lets say I bought CALL XYZ $100 @$3 6 Oct 2021 and the stock price of XYZ increased to $150 and I want to exercise the contract. Does this mean that I need to have $10,000($100 x100 shares) to even exercise the contract and purchase 100 XYZ shares @$100? I am thinking if I have to actually buy the 100 shares of the XYZ @$100 and sell it at $150 to earn a profit of $4700($150x100[market price] - $100x100[strike price] - $3x100[contract fee]) or can I just earn the profit of $4700 straight up by exercising the contract. Adding on, does this mean that the seller of the call option has to sell me 100 shares of XYZ @$100? Thank you for reading this! Hope you can help me out too!! [link] [comments]

Basic Options Questions (Robinhood) Posted: 05 Sep 2021 04:22 PM PDT Good Evening everyone. I'm looking to dip my toes into options but have a couple of questions that I need clarity on.
I appreciate all of the help you can provide. I'm looking at options 1+ year out, and just want to make sure I don't dig a hole I didn't see coming. [link] [comments]

Posted: 05 Sep 2021 08:08 AM PDT Heya, Over the past 5 months or so, I've been DCAing in crypto. Portfolio is looking pretty good there. However, I think that I have put in enough cash into crypto and would like to start investing in stocks. I'm looking for any advice you guys can offer considering the requirements:
Looking specifically for a platform that satisfies those requirements to get started with or even if this approach is feasible. From a couple of platforms I've looked at for S&P500, I saw none that allows payments by credit card. Thanks and Apologies if this has already been answered countless times already.
