Posted: 18 Sep 2021 10:20 PM PDT Ive been thinking about importing or drop shipping an item from a different country. Not china. The item is from a well established company in korea I do believe it's a great item that americans would like to use. It's just for a personal item. I like the idea of dropshipping since i dont have to have an inventory. But dropshipping tools and such in korea arent like alitool As an individual, what would be the best way to bring the item to america with almost no cost like dropshipping except ad? Partnership? My SMMA Journey (From Zero to Hero) Posted: 19 Sep 2021 01:03 AM PDT I was once one of those people who think that the idea of SMMA is just Bullshxt and you could never make money from it. I was terribly wrong. Starting out I spent a lot on courses, as I myself was a deep believer in quality education (and to pay for them). However, my first few online courses did not went well. I wasted around 5k on 2 investing courses, only to learn things that I already knew; I spent 3k on a drop shipping class only to find that the only reason the guy was making the course is because he is not making any money from the business model that he teaches. I lost my hope. I thought that online business could never work and there was no easier way to make money. I decided to just work hard on my full time job and the money I have saved I put them all in my bank account or fixed deposit, earning the minimal interest. SMMA I came across the SMMA model one day and thought I could try it again. Though my faith in online business has been destroyed one time after another, I decided to enrol myself into a SMMA course. I implemented the advice from the course, and made my first client in a month. That client paid me 500 USD a month for maintaining his Facebook Page and promoting his advertisement, but not only that, the connection that he brought to me was invaluable. He brought me more clients, and those clients brought me more. As at today, I am making 20k per month from the SMMA business, from around 13 clients. That is not a lot compared to the gurus who made 50k - 200k per month, but it really is something for me. I get to buy the things I want. I get to spend on things that I would otherwise missed out. I get to get my parents a new car. It really feels that the business has changed my life. Helping out others I always believed in helping out others in starting out, as I feel the pain of helplessness and other things like that. I would like to provide assistance to people who were just like me. I have received the blessing from the course and I would like to return the favour to the general community. FREE Coaching Session I will be offering a FREE coaching session with around 5 people (if my post gets this much views). I will be guiding you step by step in starting out your first online SMMA business, and helping you land your first client. It will be totally free but I only offer it to those genuinely deserves it. So here is what Im going to do - if you would like to have a coaching session with me, DM me your current situation, what difficulties you are facing, and what steps have you taken to tackle the difficulty. And, if we clique, I would text you back and guide you on how to get started in this amazing world of online business. Thank you for reading my post and I hope all of you have a wonderful time. Want a complete career change, is it too late? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 02:21 PM PDT Hey everyone, I currently work in the construction industry as a sheetmetal apprentice but have been having some serious thoughts about making a complete career change and pursuing a degree in business. I just turned 30 and I actually currently hold an associates degree in business. I was young and dumb then and didn't further my education and told myself il just find a career working with my hands. Well now I'm regretting that decision as my body hurts more and more over time and I really don't want to keep destroying myself in the construction industry, I would like to still be healthy when I'm 45-50 and at this rate in this business I just see myself deteriorating. So basically my question is would you guys recommend me finding an entry level business position while I try to further education in business? Or is 30 just too late to start? As I said I have the associates so that should cut down schooling time needed for a degree, I'm just worried companies won't take someone that just finished a degree in their 30s seriously. Any thoughts or recommendations on what to do? What majors might be best? I also have a fiancée and a baby so taking time off of work for school isn't an option. Thank you! Edit: if there's any recommendations you have for good careers that don't involve business for someone in my boat, I'm all ears! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Sep 2021 12:37 PM PDT So I owned a barbershop 100% by myself in an Llc, up until Jan 1, 2020, at which point I took on a partner and the shop is now 50/50 under a new LLC. Currently it is just us two who cut hair in the shop and we split expenses 50/50. However, we each make a different amount of income. I cut more hair than him. I currently have an SEP IRA for myself that I had set up when I solely owned the shop. My financial advisor recommends I switch to a Simple IRA. However, what if I want to put more money in the IRA? Or what if he doesn't want to contribute anything at all? Am I entitled to give him a percentage. Doesn't seem fair. Is there anyway around this? [link] [comments] |
What Type of Social Media Content Do You Make To Give Clothing Brands Exposure? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 05:19 PM PDT What type of content do you make to give clothing brands exposure on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok? I heard that you're supposed to make content that aligns with the brand's vibe/theme, but what would that look like exactly? I'm not sure what I should do for my brand since it's about self-love and good vibes (unique I know). The only thing I can think of at the moment is making Instagram reels and TikTok videos about tips for staying positive, but that would probably be pretty cringey so I'm not sure about that. Hi I’m looking to open a movie theater where I live, any advice? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 04:42 PM PDT Hi I'm looking into starting or buying a movie theater and I was wondering about how to go about that cause I've never owned my own business before. I'm open to specific advice or just advice on how to run a business in general, thanks. [link] [comments] |
Need advice if i should sell or not Posted: 18 Sep 2021 04:04 AM PDT Hi everyone. I quit my job and started a party rental company this year. I put 30k of my own money in, and did about 40k in revenue this year. I added tons of new stuff and basically put every dollar back into the business after expenses. Its definitely profitable already. Overhead is basically insurance, storage, and one part time employee. Ive reached a dilemma. A competitor has reached out and made an offer to buy my business for just under 60k. im considering this is because i dont particularly like this industry given its seasonal and largely weather dependent. Im at somewhat of a crossroads here as ive put alot of work into this and cannot believe my first year doing it has gone so well. Im constantly getting calls and its a good feeling knowing the business is successful and has grown a clientele quickly. Ive identified another business opportunity that i can enter but like any new venture i have no idea if that will work. Any advice for a first time entrepreneur? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Sep 2021 03:54 AM PDT One of the best movies on business and being an entrepreneur. The Founder is the story of Ray Kroc and how he took McDonald's from a few small restaurants to the greatest fast food restaurant ever. I loved it when Kroc suggested to the McDonald's brothers that they should franchise and they says they have tried. They say it has been done before and it failed. In business we hear this all the time. Managers and companies are always saying it can't be done or we've tried it before. Kroc says it just hasn't been done right. And Kroc has tons of passion and a high level of standards he expects from his franchise owners. And I loved how he looked for people to own his restaurants that were willing to work hard and wanted to be successful. And when he sees a fry cook doing great work he remembers that person and promotes him. Kroc has a lot of flaws, but sometimes great men have many flaws. The movie is funny, moves at a good pace, has great acting especially from Micheal Keaton. As a business person I loved the movie and as a movie lover I enjoyed it as well. Great story of how passion and hard work overcome all obstacles. Also the movie is mostly accurate with only a few changes that really don't matter too much. It is fun to goggle the facts from the fiction as you watch. [link] [comments] |
