Have your parents / relatives told you not to pursue business? Posted: 29 Aug 2021 03:32 PM PDT In a nutshell, parents are telling me to get a job and forget about business. I think it isn't a bad idea if you get a job temporarily leading to business, or a job, while doing business, but I feel like I'll ultimately lose steam, or not have the energy if my job is mind draining. In a nutshell, I think they want me to simply stick to a job when our family friends are Billionaires. That wasn't from working from someone. I don't care to be a billionaire. Millions will do enough for me, but what is your take on this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Aug 2021 05:40 PM PDT My friend is a recent college graduate and has cerebral palsy. He's wheelchair bound and has rather unintelligible speech due to his condition. He is extremely bright, as for those who may not know, CP is just a motor disability and does not affect cognition. He can use a computer and text, albeit slowly. He has a business degree and has been trying to find a job but many companies have passed, presumably because they feel his pace using computers would be too slow and of course the communication. I'm wondering what kind of skills I can encourage him to pursue where he can be effective with those parameters. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Feedback: Sending Rewards to Users Posted: 29 Aug 2021 04:17 PM PDT I'm making a product wherein users can earn some money. For ease of withdrawing funds and maintaining user privacy, I thought paying them in some crypto would be the best way forward. Users can also almost instantly receive their funds (few mins max) compared to something like a bank transfer. If you agree with this, could you please suggest what crypto most of you would be comfortable with receiving. If not, what suggestions might u have? Also please take into consideration the transaction fees for different cryptos. [link] [comments] |
Database app or QR-code verifier Posted: 29 Aug 2021 04:11 PM PDT Hi people of Reddit! I was wondering if anyone knows a database app for Android or iPhone that I can use. The usage of this app is going to be to check for validity of coupon codes in a database. I want to create a few hundred unique codes which will be given away to different customers. I then want a way to verify if this code has been used before or not. There may be another better way to do this, any ideas? I also want to be able to scan a barcode or Qr-code to verify if it's been used rather than typing numbers. I guess you can compare the desired system to searching for a value in Excel, then changing the the second value of it to confirm usage or not. Using excel is not an option, just trying to explain the desired goal. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Aug 2021 03:57 PM PDT always thought that you had to be a ceo of a establish company for it to be "legitimate". like say i came up with a name like telecap , which is a company that helps connects business come up with brand name, lets say. that means i open a website with the domain name telecap. i hire programmers to make website presentable and user friendly. then i post it everywhere on social media to get traction and then i get my first few clients and then it snowball from there. mouth of word, reviews, etc and then if it gets big enough scale it and get investment and then hire employees and then expand. that was always the gist of it. but what about a person who just buy and resell things on third party platform like eBAY. i feel like it doesn't have. that umph to it like the aforementioned above.. Best way to advertise small business? Posted: 29 Aug 2021 01:00 PM PDT So I bought a bunch of bidet toilet attachments thinking I could install them in peoples homes for profit. But after a ton of people declining a purchase I realized americans HATE the idea of a bidet. So I'm gonna need a really good way to convince people they want to buy a bidet and I need cheap yet effective ways to advertise. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
Wanting to Start My Own Thing But Nerves Gets Me Down Posted: 29 Aug 2021 09:53 AM PDT I'm looking for any tips and advice anyone might have for starting a business? I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but I've always defaulted to what is safe and easy and I've never stepped out to do my own thing. I recently started a YouTube channel and even though there's almost no risk with this, I still feel nervous and like it's really hard to put myself out there. Any tips or anything anyone has would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
